  1. Anyone mount a radio under the seat?

So I was lazy and just set the base unit of my 5100 under the drivers seat. I didn’t mount it to anything. Then I ran the mic and head unit cable around the back of the center console and up the passenger side. I haven’t husky floor mats and they do an excellent job of coving the wires. I have 3...
  2. Pro Cal Octane & Updates

So I have two questions I'm hoping others can help me out with. So due to 93 octane being $6+ a gallon , I was thinking about going back to 87 for the time being. So can you run 87 on the tune or will it do damage? Or should I flash back to stock? I like the shift points on the tune...
  3. Differential cover upgrade - Ford Performance vs. ARB

Awesome thanks. I’ll start looking into that! I appreciate your outstanding reply. Yeah last summer I came over a trail hill and a hit a rather good size, pointed rock. I pretty much slid along the skid plates. I saw it on camera but I guess I misjudged how high it was sticking up. I couldn't...
  4. Differential cover upgrade - Ford Performance vs. ARB

So I’m looking at upgrading my differential cover after a close call. I’m between the FP one and the ARB. Anyone have any recommendations or thoughts either way? I saw the FP ones might have an issue with the power coating coming off? Maybe that was an isolated event. TIA!!
  5. Warn Rope Extension

Hoping someone could point me in the right direction. When I bought my FP Winch, the synthetic rope that came with it had a bad eyelet so FP sent me a new rope. So now I have the original rope, unused and just sitting around. What do I need to do, to turn that into an extension line?
  6. ARB Brushless switch wiring

Also if I wire this way will the error detection still work on the compressor. I’m not worried about the lights because the switch will be under the hood and I won’t be seeing that while driving but having it beep the error codes would be helpful.
  7. ARB Brushless switch wiring

Yes I have your kit. So cut off the end connector and wire accordingly?
  8. ARB Brushless switch wiring

Thanks for the advice. I asked ARB and they said to wire it to the spot that says isolation switch. Apparently there’s different way of accomplishing the same thing. If I wire it the way you are saying, can you cut off the locker and isolation switch parts? Hoping to clean up the wiring a bit.
  9. ARB Brushless switch wiring

I have a ARB Brushless and I want to wire it to the factory ARB switch. Has anyone done this with their brushless? If so, how'd you do it? Most of the videos and articles I've seen show the twin brushed version, not the brushless. The few videos and articles I have seen, those people wired it to...
  10. ARB Brushless Compressor with Manifold?

I appreciate all the advice and input from everyone, even with the unexpected turn in the forum. lol. Now I just need to get my timing right so I can catch a good sale price. Thanks everyone!
  11. What’s the ONE piece of advice you’d give to a new Bronco owner?

Definitely some truth here. I had an Audi and MB before the Bronco. I think you have to be honest with yourself about the differences. I justify my Bronco because I actually take it off roading. No way would I drive that everyday just for mall crawling and going to work.
  12. ARB Brushless Compressor with Manifold?

So I’m looking at putting a Twin Brushless in my Bronco. I noticed that a lot of the photos I’ve seen, I don’t see a manifold with the brushless. Do I need one? I don’t have air lockers but I was thinking of occasionally using it with a blowgun. I don’t really want to blow stuff off with the air...
  13. Ford Performance Warn Winch Mount vs IAG Winch Mount

So I have a wildtrak with the Lux package. I just installed the Ford Performance winch. I followed @chon guide. His guide was spot on, I can't take any credit. My relocated sensors and relocated camera work great. I ended up doing the 3d printed sensor mounts. The ACC still works despite what...
  14. Winch to solenoid connection

So I added two photo. The one with the post is the ground but the post measured at 1/4 and the other one measured at 5/16. So essentially I bored the hole from 1/4 to 5/16. Yes, I thought about just cutting this one off and crimping on a 5/16 connector but decided to see if this would work or not.
  15. Winch to solenoid connection

So I just installed my Ford Perfomance Winch. (Really nice setup) Anyway, I figured it would be a good idea to wire it to a solenoid so I could kill power using an AUX switch. So I had to bore out the center of the warn power O-Ring connector for it to fit on the Stinger 500 solenoid...
