  1. Hello from Colorful Colorado

Yep this hobby is addictive. Since 2023 all of our vacations revolve around off roading, or the Bronco. A dozen times to the beach Merus adventure Park Key West/Everglades (we had to take the Glades to the Glades) Big Bend Merus again Sand Hollow/Moab Moab again Nevada-California almost all...
  2. Seat comfort and support Question

Dang I am battling the same thing but it’s my right hip and moderate pain in my left. I find the marine grade vinyl seats in the Everglades to be very comfortable. In fact the most comfortable seat I own my lazy boy is comfortable but getting out of it kills me. The shooting pain down my leg...
  3. Good road tire without an aggressive tread pattern - recommendations?

I just put a set of Falken Rubitreks on my Silverado it’s a good AT tire doesn’t throw rocks driving down our 1/2 mile gravel drive. And they wouldn’t look too anemic on a Sas Bronco. https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tires/falken-rubitrek-a-t/p/174255
  4. E load vs C load tires - what's your pick?

I’m running Fs, it’s the only rating available in the 35” size for the K03 last year. I don’t mind them I do have to air down a tad more. Even at 20 psi they look fully inflated.
  5. Tire Pressure Question

I have the MoRRflate 4 way with just a Schrader valve on top not the gauge. I fill my tires with my compressor and check the pressure with a gauge at that schrader valve. It is usually within a pound of what the dash reads. But usually 1 tire is off until I Drive a bit. I just figure there is...
  6. I Fixed My MIC Top Cracking Issue - Hopefully

Where about in Texas are you located? I am just North of SATX. If you would like to see it in person.
  7. I Fixed My MIC Top Cracking Issue - Hopefully

Short term update: just got back from a week in Colorado. The top held up well 2500 miles one hail storm and several rainstorms, it even held up through the hairpins on Black Bear Pass.
  8. Is my hardtop cracking?

I had to cover my cracks. so far so good been on for a week and drove through a hail storm yesterday and still looks good. We will see how it holds up this week in Colorado.
  9. What's the craziest thing you've seen behind the wheel?

I once saw a scion do a rail slide on a guard rail. It was pretty dope too he added 360 while he was on there. It was somewhere between NB and Austin. Oh and I was pulling out of my folks neighborhood on night and a Subaru jerked the wheel hard right and ran up a smallish cedar tree and rolled...
  10. More Sound deadening for wind noise

I know the cause of my wind noise is a 1/16” gap between the middle panel and the sport bar over the rear passenger door, and the 1/8” gap between the rear clamshell and the middle panel. I can see daylight through the gaps. But it doesn’t leak so I can live with that.
  11. Removing back window on a hardtop

My Wife when we first met her car was a 74? chevy station wagon, the glass would rollup into the roof and the tailgate would open down and it rolled under the car even. The only problem she had with that thing is when she would drive it around, airplanes were always try to land on the thing...
  12. Removing back window on a hardtop

If only there was a way to make that rear window roll down and be part of the tailgate. Then we wouldn’t have to futz with it. I know defrost would be an issues but they could put a little electric heater with a small fan for that.
  13. What tires does everyone run?

Anyone Try the Falken Rubitreks? The are just an AT tire but seem pretty nice and 3 peak rated. I just put a set of these on my silverado last week.
  14. I Fixed My MIC Top Cracking Issue - Hopefully

Yes I did do the whole top for consitancy. I am sure Ford would refuse a recall claim on this roof. With all of the horror stories of peoples replacement roofs being worse than their original I felt it was better to deal with the devil I know than the devil I don't. Ford had already denied a...
  15. I Fixed My MIC Top Cracking Issue - Hopefully

Thanks, The Dobbies are great, they did well in Baja and we are taking it to Colorado next week. Thanks for asking.
