  1. 2025 2.3L Performance Calibration - Worth it?

why the big difference? lack of innovation? why doesn't Ford push it harder? fear of liability?
  2. 2025 2.3L Performance Calibration - Worth it?

everyone seems to think ProCal is relatively tame compared to Panda and other aftermarket tunes. Ford now sells them for trucks and cars. My son just did his BMW and plans to do his Z6. I wonder if in several years they will be an order option on certain vehicles or engines.
  3. 2025 2.3L Performance Calibration - Worth it?

Perhaps the ā€œslight?ā€ risk poses warranty issues to manufacturers
  4. 2025 2.3L Performance Calibration - Worth it?

I’m waiting for 2026 tune to be released. they sound impressive. I’m just surprised how mainstream tunes have become and with manufacturers now selling them. My brother asked me if they are so popular why don’t manufacturers just install from factory. Not sure myself if it’s money or that the...
  5. 2025 2.3L Performance Calibration - Worth it?

Good answer. Here is verbatim (lengthy) what Granger told me on this issue. Bottom line-gray area and like Ducati said- "dependent on the situation and filure" "If the Ford Performance calibration is installed by a Ford dealership, it will not automatically void your factory warranty. Ford...
  6. Whaaaat! This hurts. A little.

  7. Giveaway: AIGMUX Crash Bar End Caps Front Axle Plug (EFFECTIVELY PREVENT SOIL FROM ENTERING) - free for 5 owners

Looks nice. Does it create water issue not allowing drainage and dry-out? I remember seeing pics of frame structure on ford trucks where they rusted out as no drainage capability. But-minor detail on crash bars.....
  8. 2026 ProCal Ford Tune 2.3L

I haven’t either, but it seems like a lot of television now showcase Gen1s - Dutton ranch, shrinking, and a few others I saw

That’s pretty complicated process to achieve outcome:crackup:
  11. The Granger Extended warranty.

Ive used Granger for 2 ESP, And one distinction is the ESP is not the same as the original 3 yr bumper to bumper. The ESP does not cover cosmetic/aesthetics like MIC tops, upholstery and other similar issues. Original 3 yr Bumper to Bumper does.
  12. Colorado WTB Non-Sas fender flares in good condition

Thanks for response but I would like a very clean undamaged set
  13. Went with the polished look for wheels.

I like the look with your color. I put M/T Canyons on my marsh gray BL but kept my original stock black rims. Giving myself time to see which I like better....appreciate any feedback too...
  14. I can relate, the older I get. How about you 1980's babies?

I'm early 60s guy too and can relate to his sage advice. made me think how often stock OEM vehicles hold value so well too. He gives good counsel for those considering 37s - lots of implications need to be thought through.
  15. Excited to join you all

Congrats and welcome! Sounds like you had good prep experience too. How did dealer handle performance tune as Ford has not released for '26 2.3? Will they install when released?
