Take the vehicle back to stock as much as reasonably possible and sell all your mods/accessories on FB. I got about $33k trade for my 22 non sas Big Bend with about 40k miles on it and another $8k or so selling all my accessories on marketplace (a big chunk of that was the hard top). Only had to...
I switched to 33ā KO2s on mine and it deff rode waaaay rougher even with them being C rated. If you arenāt gonna off road it (or do anything more than light trails) Iād stick with an SL/P rated all terrain⦠deff much nicer to drive on a daily basis. 33ā tires are nice bc lots of standard load...
Iāve owned both the safari Bestop and the access Bestop biminis - you canāt really keep it on under the hardtop. First off, there isnāt really a way to take the middle panel on/off easily even with the zippers and the latches for middle row also don't work well with it⦠the Bimini has to kind of...
I see brand new ones in their shipping containers all the time for about $1,000 on FB market. Iād hold out for one of those to be honest⦠used ones usually go for about the same.
Will end up being over $30k easy after the options everyone will want and then you have a vehicle smaller than a maverick, with poor range, no towing capability (Iām assuming), no AWD. I applaud the idea but it would be silly not to just pay what will likely end up being $5-$7k more for a...
The more crucial things to have are deff a good tow strap, soft shackles, & traction boards but a winch does give you peace of mind when going alone or if doing the tougher trails (two things I donāt do with a newish $40k+ vehicle) so the winch is kind of overkill and just makes extra noise/adds...
Hidden winches r nice to look at thatās about it. Personally I want my winch in a position where I can see it working in action, being able to monitor how it is spooling up, etc. IMO the factory Warn winch is the way to go especially at its current price like u mentioned. Get the cover for it...
Iām not sure if this has been confirmed or denied yet, but it seems if you buy the āfordā branded Trektop (the version listed on fordās website for example) it does not have the Bestop logo but if you buy the Trektop from Bestop or most other retailers it seems it does come with the logo...
I also came from a gutless ā17 Tacoma. Bronco much nicer to drive but I absolutely would not own it if I also did not have a utility trailer. Was surprised the Bronco is only slightly larger than a Tacoma on the inside so if you want a roomier interior the Bronco is disappointingly not much of...
Another thing to note which I discovered after owning the Bestop and hardtop for a while is the garage logistics. With the standard non sas suspension and 32ā or 33ā tires the Bestop fit under my standard garage door just barely with the top flipped back which was great. When I added the...
Has anybody found a cheap version of the OEM door nets? I prefer their low profile and look vs. the plastic add-ons, etc - just want to be able to swap new ones in when they inevitably get stretched out after a while. Does this kind of thing exist yet on the market? The OEM ones are way too...
I have the Bestop and hardtop. The Bestop is definitely not user friendly to take on and off. That being said if you are only going to do it at the start and end of cold weather seasons itās not THAT bad⦠the initial install/assembly is a big project though.
