Bronco Everglades

Does anyone know if the rock rails on the Everglades are the same as other 4-door models? I do not have the factory hoop steps and am looking to add IAG's full length EZ-Steps. IAG's website says it will not fit Everglades, but the rock rails on mine look identical to other 4-door models. Am I missing something?

maybe the fender flares get in the way due to them being more squared off instead of rounded like the other trims. Not sure. I would venture to guess the rock rails are the same not 100% sure though.

It's likely IAG is missing something. The hoop step rails are not the same but the non-step rails are as far as what we've seen so far. Call them and ask if they know the difference between the 2 rails offered on the EG

I would say the company is mistaken…the rock rails are the same as the black diamond (since the Everglades is built off the BD package). Maybe they’re confusing the rails to the hoop step rails, which will not support the weight of the vehicle with the steps removed. Time to call customer support for clarification!

The hoop step has a rail-looking mount, but it will not support the weight of the vehicle. There are companies that make steps that attach to factory rock rails, but the ford hoop steps won’t mount to the actual rock rails from the factory. @SurfsUp85

@Iconic Bronco that's good to know. I thought they were rock sliders and that they designed the steps to go on and off for rock sliding. Glad I didn't go off and use them lol

Guys thanks for your input! I will double check with IAG. I think you are right about the confusion with hoop step rails. The steps are shown on their website to fit the Black Diamond. I will update once I get a definite answer in case anyone else is thinking about the IAG steps.

I’ll probably be driving out to see them once I take delivery of mine! I was surprised to learn that they are only 30 minutes away from me.

I confirmed with IAG that their full size steps will fit Everglades with standard OEM rock rails. I have a set on order.

Hey Guys, Update, I received my IAG steps and attached a few pics of them mounted. Couldn't be happier! They are well made, look great, and only took ten minutes to mount on oem rock rails. They also come off super easy if you need to take them off for rock crawling.
