You'll need a $6000 hardtop if you want to install this hardtop liner. This is the sound deadening liner, not a hardtop!
see... that is why I ask questions... I thought that was the hard top...

LOL
Thanks

Don’t regret the soft top. It’s great. It has its limitations - but, so does that shoddy MIC.

Get the truck. Enjoy the hell out of it. There will be tops to be had eventually.

I ordered the soft-top for my Bronco build (Black Diamond, 4 dr, 2.7) against my husband's wishes.. I am now regretting the choice as i get closer to delivery (finally).

Any advice would be appreciated.
Regret is a useless burden on your mind. Stay positive and keep an open mind regarding the soft top. I have one and it’s a nice top. (Base, 4 door, Sas, 2.7). I have had a couple of Jeep’s with soft tops as well and from my experience the Bronco soft top is much better.
Besides, in a year or so the aftermarket will probably have multiple hard top choices available and you can get a hard top then and if you choose. You could even sell your soft top then to offset some of the cost.

Yeah that's just the felt liner to go inside of the MIC. You can't currently order an MIC on your own, the point when you finally can they say it's going to be around $6k to the dealer.

At some point some aftermarket folks may start making a hard tops... Got another's a huge market for them right now.

The hard top is $695 option to add. Where do you get $6k?

Ya thats a bit much for the MIC. I bet its closer to $3,000-$3500. The MOD top will be closer to the $6k especially if you have to get it painted.

Beat estimates for it, when it's available from a dealer put it at somewhere between $3k and $6k. It's only that much of a price difference from the factory.

I.e. it's not that it's only $700, it's that it's $700 more than a soft top

Why can’t people understand that the hard top is NOT $695? I see this all the time. It is the price of the soft top PLUS $695! Go on the B&P and try to remove the soft top price and add just $695 for the hard top. You can’t.
The price of my nicely produced and painted hardtop on my gladiator is $3k+. You can bet your arse the bronco hardtop is going to be more than that- it’s a lot more mass/material.

I was told by my bronco rep to expect to pay about $2000. I dont know if there is any truth to that. $6000 seems to be way too high. Hopefully someone gets into the aftermarket and builds a good quality top. That would make this Brono MIC nightmare easier to digest.

The dual top option was about $1800, so figure they list it for about 15% higher at the dealer after they pretend to give a discount, gets you to $2100, for sure they will make you pay shipping, maybe another $350 there. I figure for a MIC (when available in 2023 or so) will be $2500 in today's dollars, so add another 8% for price increases, gets you to $2700 with tax and so forth. Dealer will always probably make you eat two hours of labor to install unless you have a way to haul it off, so $3g's seems about right to me.
