Mine has been sitting in my garage on saw horses so it hasn't degraded as fast.I just noticed these two big blisters below the glass on the driver side. They're air pockets that I can push in with my finger. I assumed they were new but looking back at old pictures they were there the day I bought it but I was probably so preoccupied looking at edges that I missed these. Wow

If you wax your softop, wont you get the honeycomb design showing through ?No, I was thinking about the guy that waxed his MIC top!
I thought after that everything is supposed to be waxed!!

Sheesh, I feel bad for you. This MIC debacle seems to be getting worse as time goes on. Glad I saved the $700 and will be putting that towards a hardtop in the next couple years. They should be giving you guys more Ford points AND guaranteeing a new top once they get this all figured out. Or at least let you have first stab at the painted tops when those release.I just noticed these two big blisters below the glass on the driver side. No your head just stays dry when it's closed and raining. Wax repels water! DuhIf you wax your softop, wont you get the honeycomb design showing through ?

That's better ! I thought you might be getting too serious with your response to Rlack75's wax comment, or just being sarcastic. No your head just stays dry when it's closed and raining. Wax repels water! Duh
It is a valid point. But what if you wait for the hardtop, then one day want a soft top, as well. You will have to pay quite a bit for that. One of the good things about getting the soft top from factory is that there is no additional cost. Plus, I’m very curious to see the painted black mod top, an updated MIC or maybe they redesign the thing, or you can go body color. Personally, I would rather get my bronco now, enjoy the soft top, then look at all the options later and pay for something with better quality. Also, I’m sure there will be one or two aftermarket hard tops at some point. In the end, do what makes sense for your own situation and long term ideas.the problem is if you don't get the hardtop now and have to buy one once things are straightened out a hardtop is likely to run around $3500. I'd rather pay the $700 now and deal with issues and get a warranty replacement later.
Add this to the honeycomb/snakeskin texture and exposed uneven edges of MIC 1.1....
I've joined the leaky top club 42 days & 1,370 miles after delivery.
The Bronco was parked on a level surface at work for about 3-4 hours of consistent rain.
This shitty top is literally the only thing I'm not impressed with! I'm sure more people will have stories like mine after that huge weather system went by today!

Mine was at dirt mountain for 3 months too... If it makes you feel better it just started this. I've been through a car wash, heavy rain, and another wash at home with a foam cannon without issue. Just started today.Oh, I see the problem, this is easy to fix!
Don't park it outdoors in the rain.
I can't wait to smell my interior after 3 months of this at Dirt Mountain.
I am sure that some leaked and some didn't.. Hopefully, it's an easy fix, but should we start with the obvious???Mine was at dirt mountain for 3 months too...
