I prefer the King Ranch Leather over this though. You can tell a significant difference in quality over the two.

King Ranch leather would be lovely. How's it stand up to the elements though? Roof off and whatnot.

I'm totally fine with this dark tan and black interior on my Cactus gray. In fact given options this would be number one in my book. Unfortunately I believe it will never be a option. But a future Bronco owner can certainly dream.

Yes, this is the best way to explain the way all of us who have ordered the FE Bronco feel. A blue interior being the only option is absolutely ridiculous. Whoever came up with this idea on what otherwise looks to be an amazing new offering by Ford should seriously think about giving all of us future Bronco owners more options...especially when we are going to spend a lot of money on them..

I would hope that Ford Executives would see at some point that launching a new vehicle line into an untapped market, where they are trying to displace an entrenched competitor, that using an interior design that is a retread, unoriginal, not well thought out, and does not really well-coordinated with the exterior offerings is bad for business and not a way to make us "Net-Promoters" (People who rabidly promote the Ford Bronco to others). I have written the CEO, Tweeted the Ford Marketing, and blogged here and on Bronco Nation. I would like a sign that Ford is actually considering our desires beyond "We are listening." I am willing to accept "We are considering your inputs and will make a decision by XX/XX/XXXX and will communicate it that date."

If they're perforated, it begs the question why cooled seats aren't even an option.

Because it is nostalgic to have your rear area thermally molded to the seats in the summer and iced over in the winter. This is old school! LOL

To be fair, Mike only said they’re listening which could very likely just be PR talk. That does not necessarily mean that they’re going to change anything. Their hands may be tied this late in the development stage and all the complaining in the world won’t change anything.

I’m sure there are more variables to consider that may not be very apparent to the consumer which impacts their decision to only one interior on the First Edition. As I’ve mentioned multiple times, giving more options means more configurations. If Ford is planning on building these first while the other orders come in then they likely want the least number of possible configurations. That’s why they fully optioned this trim and limited the number of interior and exterior options.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if there were focus groups that liked this combination and that’s why they went with it. As demonstrated in this thread and other threads, there ARE people who like the interior. For all we know, that could be the majority; we don’t have access to this type of data that Ford likely does.

Not trying to be a Debbie Downer to some people in this thread, but am just tempering expectations on the likely reality of the situation.

Their hands are not tied, the Bronco6g forum members were very vocal over the last six months wanting more vivid colors then the initial exterior paint color list that was initially leaked. Low and behold we now have Velocity Blue available as a "Late Availability" item.

The Bronco Job 1, production start date is not until next April, this is plenty of time to work on long-lead material and update all the engineering, manufacturing and marketing materials. This is entirely doable for things such as interior seat fabric options, perforated and cooled seats and so on. Will they be available at Job 1, perhaps not, but they can be other "Late Availability" items.

Unfortunately, Ford needs to appease the masses and not just this forum. All while still being able to manage the logistics of everything.

They may be reading this forum, but we need to understand as a community that many of the things we want may not come into fruition. At least not for the first model year.

And that's exactly what they want it to be; adding cooled seats, proper center console rear air vents (for 2 door and 4 door), 3.0L engine, manual transmission on bigger engine, and better interiors, they know a certain % is going to upgrade every year lol.
