Minor "UGH" !!

Just got word from my friend down at MAP checking on my Bronco ....

" It was built first thing this morning, it failed static so it should be in the repair bay right now. They will probably have it repaired tonight. I'll check every couple hours to see if they completed it "

ME: What is FAILED STATIC ?

" Yeah. The BCM failed. Nothing to get worried about, it could have been an open door, someone pushed the wrong button, or anything small. After it's complete, I can look up what "repair" was made, and what was wrong with it. "

" We only build on average of 2 or 3 vehicles that have no issues from start to finish. Very surprised your truck had no body fit issues, I would say 80% have them and need adjustment. But yours was good from start to finish .... It's probably in the repair hole somewhere or outside. It's already completely built. Dropped in trim shop around 6:45 am. "

Wish Ford gave updates like this, would help my drinking problem.

It's finally happening!! FWIW, I got the built email on 10/31, shipped today 11/2.

Just got notified that my 4 door First Edition that had been "In Build" since 10/25 is now "Built."
The notification said they "are performing some final inspections on your vehicle and getting it ready for shipment."

ETA is November 13-19.

What’s your build? I’m base with mod bumper and the switches in lieu of the taco holder. Wonder if the mod bumper is installed later or what?

I've got a loaded up OBX. I also have aux switches and a mod bumper. You might be onto something.
