I guess I should clarify, get approval which is good for 30 days and unless the boat sinks its on that will be plenty of time from November 1st. Then I'll get notice once it sails on the week trip from Seattle. Only once I get the call it's at the port will I go close on the loan, but I want the check ready to go before it's ready for delivery...in and out!Don't do this - ask me how I know.
My dealer told me mine was en route back in July (7/14 blend). I closed on my loan per the dealer's suggestion and then dirt mountain happened. I have had a check sitting on my desk for $30k since July. Have made my first 3 payments and have been paying mandatory insurance since then. Good times.
And Murphy's law has me as one of the last off Dirt Mountain. Coming up on nearly 4 months sitting on a gravel lot - just awful.
Assuming your bank can close right away I would not close on the loan until it is sitting there.
"Dirty Mike" Levine and the crew @Ford Motor Company have been doing plenty of time in these Dirt Mountain F'shacks... I think that they are afraid of the day that the last soup kitchen is gone!Anyone else find it comical that Ford was slummin in the Dirt Mountain ThreadI bet they watch this thread more than we realize
I feel for you. I had pre applied back in July when mine was supposed to arrive (7/14 build, 8/5 delivery) and re-applied when mine was supposed to arrive by October (per the latest communication Ford sent out). I never finalized, but wonder if I'll still get the lowest rate after coming to the well for a third time.Don't do this - ask me how I know.

I had the paperwork for mine filled out once I had a blend date, and was literally going to get preapproved the day the news hit they were stopping production for awhile.I feel for you. Who sends the assembly line photo? I never got one. Does it come from Ford directly?I can still see honeycomb and there’s some rough edges
Edit: just got my assembly line photo and the back looks super sus.

we are like the ugly people... nobody wants to look at us... so they try to hide usCrickets and a bump...were even getting relegated to the second page of activity...us poor DM folks.
they are arriving early........ keep checking! My Bronco is on a train somewhere in Minnesota currently. Tracker ETA still says 11/13 but my salesperson says her estimate is more like 11/23. I locked in price today, got a letter with all the vehicle and my info to take to the bank next week. That way I'll just close on the loan, walk in with a check and be on my way!
It still doesn't feel real, once I'm in that drivers seat it will.
That seems to be true for the lower 48, but I track fleet orders of rangers, transits and super duty trucks for work. It's typically 30-45 days transit time. 3 modes of transport to get it here, truck, rail and ship. You can almost set your clock by it.they are arriving early........ keep checking!
Means nothingAny ideas why at the bottom of my window sticker it now has a date of 10/26/2021?
