Suddenly getting an error the last 2 days that my VIN is not in the system. Has this happened to anyone? Freaking me out...emailed my dealer but wanted to see if this has happened to anyone else.

All these new folks getting pushed into 8/25 week over the last couple day makes me pretty nervous. This is exactly what happened right before 7/19 and they subsequently shut down the plant that week and the next.

Saw in the news they had an issue with a Mexico plant and were shutting it down for a week or two from supply restraints. Didn't dig to see what they were short on but wouldn't take much to cause same issue here.

*NOTE: Was 10/10 and 10/11 due to material shortage (Bronco Sport plant). I mean chip shortage is like a monthly thing anyways for US based manufacturing.

Yes this is just happening to me. I don't check every day but yesterday I thought I would check and just big error and today it says enter valid VIN. Did you figure out this issue?

Ford tracker has been extremely glitchy lately, I wouldn’t worry about it. Just use the Bronco6g tracker instead.

I did and said "can't retrieve this vin".......not feeling good, wish I just waited for the In Production email.

Same is happening to me, hopefully it means something good. I checked with my dealer yesterday and he still sees 10/25 on his end (although not sure what he’s looking at).

At this point it seems dealers are annoyed to have to answer our questions and we’re annoyed to have to constantly ask so many questions. At least in my situation, my dealer NEVER provides information without prompting.

Most of the time I have to prompt several times, and even then I don't always get information.

I just had the same thing happen to me. Timing may be better for me anyway so I'm not complaining.

Welcome everyone from 10/18. Guess this means many of us originally for 10/25 will get bumped a week as well.

Based off history, we won't get the word on the bump until next Friday lol
