MGV - options for adding after

I have a 2dr OBX supposedly coming in within the next couple weeks with navy pier cloth seats. I am really not a fan of these seats and was going to upgrade to Katskin leather but saw a Bronco with the MGV and would really like to add this option.

Does anyone know if I can purchase the MGV seat covers from Ford? Or is anyone upgrading their MGV?

You can go to a custom interior shop and have it done. Yes it will cost you a few thousand dollars.

Or you could try a seat swap with someone else or a totaled vehicle, but that seems a long shot.

If you want to do it for durability and plan on getting the seats wet on occasion, I would go to someone that does boat seats and see if they need to replace the foam or anything else underneath to prevent rot.

If you are just doing it because you like the MGV textile, then don’t worry about going to a specialty place and check out whatever seat covers you like the look and feel of.

A dealer can order any ford part number. Otherwise they could fix warranty claims.

If they can order it then there should be part number. The MGV is not a seat cover to begin with like the other seat covers ford has. Do you have a part #? If not I'm calling bullshit

I had a buddy get in my Cadillac with a knife clipped in his back pocket, the clip scratched the holy fuck out of my leather seat cover. I bought replacement seat covers from GM. They are the the actual covers that line the seats. You can in fact order the seat upholstery from Ford just like any other part. I dont know what the part number is yet but you they have to be made available for warranty claims, rips, etc where people need to fix their shit.
