Resisting the urge to rage cancel but I did put in a Rivian preorder so now it’s probably down to who delivers first. My current vehicle is still under factory warranty until next August so no actual rush even though the absurd wait and way Ford has handled it are super frustrating.

Aside from the different (not better) color choices I think it will be 23 model year at least before Ford start to tidy up all the gremlins and start making improvements. Not sure when to expect a hybrid version but the Bronco Raptor is expected next year which is altogether a different beast.
Hell, they are already doing this. The entire MIC top is proof of this. They don't need to wait until new model years to make some fixes.

True but you will also get the heritage edition and the warthog or is that the same as the raptor

My story is a contentious one… Having made a reservation in September of last year I thought I was on the right track, but after all the kerfuffles from Ford, I canceled my reservation and just sat in my house thinking about life. Fast forward to about a month and a half ago I decided to put a retail order in with the dealer and just wait it out yet again… Small deposit aside, they asked me to come out and test drive this beauty yesterday - and my Lord it was a spiritual experience. I have no problem waiting for this car knowing that my order will most likely be in 2023 and as stated above they’ll be a whole bunch of new colors and fixing some of the small gremlins that we were seeing…”here I go again” (That’s Whitenske for all you old metal heads out there).

Great rig. Just can’t get behind that awful colour. Something for everyone I guess

Cancel and get this instead. I don't think I'd be too unhappy with one of these. The length of time these have been made shows in many details. The front bumper is a good example with a no compromise license plate location, fog lights, removable ends. Very nice sidesteps. There's a functional hood scoop. A lot of interior details far exceed Bronco. They still need some things, but Ford clearly missed many things also.

I ordered a Snazzberry Willys Sport for my dad five weeks ago and it is already in production. It certainly makes it hard to wait......I guess I will have to bribe my dad to drive his Jeep while I have to wait.
You should have gotten him the Snozzberry Edition. It comes on the Willys Wonka Jeep. They say when you give it a lick that Snozzberries Paint actually taste like Snozzberries.

Yeah it’s not my color either (I’m A51), but really popped.

I may have for mine (I'm keeping the one for my dad).

I'm not canceling mine but I've also put down a deposit for a 22 Defender 90.

Next day I have a build date of January and ETA of March (I'm not going to hold my breath).

After test driving the D90 I think it fits me better. I can still have fun with the Bronco with my dad.

wait, their giving build dates into 2022 now? Did you reorder with your dealer for the new model year?

To make sure there was no confusion I'm talking about the LR D90 not the Bronco.

Walked in to test drive for first time ever. Loved it. They didn't have an allocation for a MY22 90 just a 110 so I had to wait until they did (hoping of course got October).
Next day my salesperson let's me know manager got them to flip the 110 to a 90 allocation and was provided a build date and ETA for arrival.

November is my last date for changes then I'm locked in with that build.

I arranged to drive my dealers mannequin last week. When I got there, the sales associate said, “the GM took it, sorry”. Instead I got to see some other dealer’s mannequin while it was still on the truck.

Add in the QC issues I’m reading about (other than MIC too) and I’m close to walking away.

I did contact my local Toyota dealer already about a 4 runner. We’ll see

IMO,, if you want a rig to drive around on dirt roads there are many choices that cost less than Bronco for much less and they cost less to repair. The Bronco is a great vehicle but I would keep options open and really think about the use. If ya got the bucks to play, enjoy but be ready.
