Used to be bronze untill the oxidization
Was never bronze. Has always been copper.

" The statue was a combined effort of both America and France. It was agreed that America would build the base, and France would build the statue and assemble it here in the United States. Bartholdi required the assistance of an engineer to address structural issues associated with a huge copper sculpture. Alexandre Gustave Eiffel (see reference to Eiffel Tower) was hired to design the massive iron pylon and the skeletal framework. One of the tricks in the design of the statue was allowing for thermal expansion in the copper. When a material goes through temperature changes, the dimensions change. The skeletal framework allows the copper shell to move independently yet stand upright. "

This one is bronze though.

Yeah I thought it was copper but some body else said it was bronze my point is it’s oxidized now hence the look it now has and I was telling the op that is what might be going on with his bronco. I really hope the Broncos don’t have the oxidation problems the mustangs had

Aluminum oxidizes to a whitish color and when it does it will bubble the paint. So if you're seeing red/brown its contamination that originated elsewhere. If it were me I'd clay bar it and see what happens, because I already have it and it's easy to do.

Had my bronco over a month and I am
Enjoying every minute, well built, nice to drive compared to a jeep, lots of power from the v6, plenty of room, electronics work well only thing I had happen was the 12” screen stopped working I gad to disconnect the negative battery terminal, it never happened since, I reported it to the dealer, another thing is spots forming on my hood and fenders that looks like rust, I just got back from the dealer they took pictures to be sent off for a decision. It’s ridiculous why is a vehicle rusting already? I thought these broncos we’re made from aluminum. I attached some pictures. Other then that it’s been a blast!

If it were mine, I would not try to correct the brown spots myself. Let the dealer do it.

the darker small dots look like shotgun fungus also called artillery fungus, normally you will see light color paint with more off them but I have seen them on black also. Do you park anywhere near mulch? That’s were that stuff comes from if it is shotgun fungus.

Sad to hear this. My 2011 Mustang with the aluminum hood is bubbling and looks like crap. I'll live with it but in 2020 plus is sad to read about it. With the F150 going all aluminum in 2015 I would have figured Ford would have this under control by now :(

As has been noted, those spots absolutely look like rail dust. Clay barring or taking to a detailing shop for paint correction should resolve that.

Nice! Two questions
1. How noisey do you find those ridge Grapplers on the highway at speed? Assuming that was a Sasquatch, how do they compare to the stock Goodyear Territory tires?
2. How are you liking living with the MIC top? I'm imagining spending most of my time with the 3 panels removed, and the back cap in place. But does the windflow work in that configuration? How easy is it to take the rear cap on and off?

Loving the ridge grapplers, very quiet on the road and looks awesome! Best tire I ever had. The Top is ok, it works fine, no leaks yet, and the 3 panels are easy to remove but only the two front pieces fit in the back, the wind flow is good, the rear cap is easy to take off but you can’t do it yourself, it’s only 10 bolts in total that’s easy to unscrew, they give you the tools, and removing the windshield wash hose and electrical plug. Also the sound sending headliner looks cheap and dust and particles fall from it onto you, it’s weird. but it has some rough edges, looks cheap in ways, but I heard Ford is replacing all mic tops because of those issues.

Beautiful tire rim set up. Just a quick question though, did you get the Sasquatch package and then change them out? Or did you get the standard 33‘s and switch them out? I can’t tell from the lift versus your tires. Beautiful scenic pictures as well. I love you you’re taking your bronco.
