Suncoast is next to red rockI’ll be there Friday, Sept 10. Driving up from Phoenix. Trying to figure out where to stay. Red Rock Casino is booked. Any of you locals have any thoughts about where to stay?
When I booked, it was full for the Bronco Off Roadeo deals, but they had other rooms at the same price. Try Expedia, or just booking through their website if you would like to stay there.I’ll be there Friday, Sept 10. Driving up from Phoenix. Trying to figure out where to stay. Tried Expedia and room rate was $269 not including taxes and fees. That’s an oddly expensive property. It’s just me, so I don’t need anything super nice. Just hot shower and wifi and I’m happy. The Silverton is fairly close, and it's connected to Bass Pro Shops.I’ll be there Friday, Sept 10. Driving up from Phoenix. Trying to figure out where to stay. Red Rock Casino is booked. Any of you locals have any thoughts about where to stay?

Yep, I was just looking at Silverton. That’s probably top choice as of now. Thanks everyone. The Silverton is fairly close, and it's connected to Bass Pro Shops.
We did it yesterday, what a blast. Lots of tight technical trails and boulders. Badlands I was in made easy. The stabilizer disconnect is the key, works great.
Road in isn't bad, rentals will do fine (isn't that what rental cars are for?).
We had 6 vehicles, I guess the day before, Saturday, they had 24, broken into different groups. Couldn't imagine trying to herd that many cats through there. As this was the first week they were running really impressed with how well it was organized.
If you haven't scheduled yet, think about what day you're looking to do it, I would bet Saturdays are packed. They had set up only 3 for Monday...
