I've gotten my $100 worth already just in the preproduction info and saving my spot in line. To get the other $49,900 from me though, I'll wait until everything around the Bronco firms up.

Mean time my hundred dollars "stands in line for me while I don't have to.

The Modular Black Painted Hard Top comes with gloss black painted grill and gloss black painted side view mirror caps. You can see what it looks like with the 4-door Colorizer, which also shows a Black Bronco Logo in back. It appears to be the Wildtrak but with body colored door handles.
Yep I saw that but what I'm suggesting is a package that has that plus a few other things, especially the BRONCO in all black across the grill.

If it’s not available from the factory. The after market is going to be YUGE!

The entire outer body of the Bronco can be taken off in minutes.
Fenders, Grill, Bumper, Doors, Quarters..
the major 3rd party groups are going to have a field day!
Ford would be silly to not have this...it's free $$$ and many of us hate chrome and want blacked emblems and of course they look cool. ;)

Hopefully that changes once f-150 and Bronco are able to be purchased.
Wall Street is a play on Tomorrow - not Today. Sometime look at an Apple product launch overlayed with a real time stock ticker.

I get that, but I don’t think 100s of millions of people worldwide were anticipating a Bronco launch.

Me too...don't need a rear seat at all. But Ford's engineer advised they are not designed to be removed - whatever that means. Those seat mounting brackets look to be pretty comfey there...and appear to be 3+" high. And after removal, you've got the foot well to deal with.

I'd guess the 'cargo tray' was developed to address this FUBAR...but it'll cost you vertical height. And may or may not shift around with dogs jumping around back there.

Knowing Ford....what's your guess as to whether those rear headrests will pop right off???

The v8 will not fit. If you think Ford is going to redesign an already “next generation” platform to fit a v8, or create a new v8 to fit, you’ll be waiting a long time. Best you’ll get is the TT3.0 with 400hp and possible hybrid assist. See Lincoln Aviator. Hell, Ford doesn’t even offer a v8 in the massive Expedition.

I have been doing some soul searching and after talking with a friend, he said that there’s no way it will only tow 3500lbs in V6/auto/4 door. Or if it’s only rated for that, there may just be one specific criteria that it can’t pass past 3500 lbs. He said to buy it and if it needs bags or anything you can always add that to tow more, but honestly I’m going to be towing my crawler maybe 5 or 6 times a year. Will probably just end up doing that, but honestly I still don’t believe the 3500 tow rating. Makes no sense that it’s the same regardless of wheelbase/engine/trans.
I have owned a couple of second gen Lightnings in the past, they were rated at 5k for towing. This was mainly due to the lowered stance of the suspension. Engine/Trans/Rear could definitely tow more. I had a dual axle car hauler and a built up Samurai to tow. After putting air bags in the back, it towed without issue... I have a feeling the Bronco numbers might change, but like has been mentioned, I'm sure it has a lot to do with suspension than drive train...

I’ve heard this tripe so many times, oh the diesel won’t fit, oh the V6 won’t fit, oh the V8 won’t fit.
Manufacturers say whatever they want, aftermarket has had no trouble doing what the factory won’t do without interfering with the integrity of the vehicle.
Your being ridiculous if you think a V8 cannot physically fit in a Bronco.

Yes ! Easily removable rear seats would be so useful!
