🛠 8/2/21 build Week Thread

I have a blend date of 8/5 and the modules were loaded on 8/6. The current status is "In Production" with no other updates on the various trackers. My build spec is 4Dr Badlands, Lux, Sasquatch, 2.7L, Soft Top. I'm hoping that I receive the 'Built' email soon or get some sort of an update from Ford regarding potential contraint/s that has put me in QC hold.

I didn't receive an email from Ford today. My wait for my 8/5 blend, 4 Dr Badlands, SAS, Soft Top, LUX, 2.7L continues.

Interesting. Im soft as well and my blend was 8/6 but I didn't get any modules until this monday. My Sync is updated but wifi is still ineligible with no movement either on Palsapp. My dealer just got their demo yesterday.

I was hoping to see a built email by the weekend but who truly knows at this point, maybe by the time the weekend is up.

Edit: Just checked my Bronco's dashboard on Ford.com and the wifi tile is straight up GONE, lmaoo.

It disappears for me sometimes too. When it is there it says ineligible. I think it isn't an option for base models though.

Edited: It actually is showing WIFI eligible now for the fist time ever.

Random question for soft top people: in the top left corner of your window sticker, does it say MIC followed by a series of numbers?

It may be time to break up the band and split the MIC's from the Softies. Unfortunately, it looks like those of us with MIC's had builds right before the panic button was pressed. I'm not anticipating seeing a vehicle for quite some time- They have to engineer a new top, test it, then mass produce. thinking that's going to happen and ship by October may be a fools errand!

No email for me, contacted customer service, they lied to me yesterday, said that it was chips! Still radio silence from Ford.

Same, i had the "SYNC" icon for a while, that has since disappeared and I now have wifi eligible

HOW?! I always get an (not sure how to put this) ethnic speaking person who cant understand me. let alone give me any more info than what i can pull myself...

Whelp, my wifi is now eligible, but I think my update sync has been replaced with a different box with a red tag that says "over the air updates are unavailable"

My page just updated to eligible for wifi - so I don't have to read through thousands of posts... what is the significance of the wifi being eligible?

I’m not entirely sure. It’s seems to be the last step before it’s built/shipped. At least it’s the last step that we all can find online.
