SoCal Rail Tracking Timeline For Those Interested

Here was timeline for mine which was in a batch that got built emails on 7/19 and were shipping to LA county dealers.

Departed MAP on 7/20.
Intermediate point CSX - Walbridge, OH on 7/22
Intermediate point UP railroad - Nplawest, NE on 8/1
Tucson, AZ on 8/5
Landed @ Mira Loma, CA 6am on 8/6 - ML is the UP automotive logistics yard to transfer to truck - 60 miles from my dealership in hawthorne.

Will update when it arrives at dealer - they told me maybe 1 - 3 days but depends.

If you’re in LA you’ll definitely get it sooner rather than later.

To maximize profit, car carriers typically only roll out of the rail yard when they are full... sucks for those of us who live in rural areas of the country. But since you’re in LA metro area you’ll probably have it by mid-week next week (I would hope).

Hopefully this doesn’t jinx it… but early congrats!

Crazy, as I originally had 2-3 week estimate to CO. Got an email from Ford now extended to 6-7 weeks.

My 4D BL was released 7/23. Delivery estimate is 8/8-8/14. Thank you for sharing I’ve been wondering about the times. I am in Riverside so… hopefully…this week

Mira Loma is a timing quagmire. Dealerships lose track of delivery timing there. Tracking shows when it hits the yard but there is no visibility of when they'll leave. The cars hit the yard and then just show up at dealerships unexpectedly. Dealerships told me they know a truck is coming and that's about it.

Ford gave me a 7 day window for a Bronco Sport this week and next. The train got there Thursday. The dealership got two from that train late Thursday and two more (including my kid's) on Friday which was day two of the quoted window. they said they had seven more that hit Mira Loma the same day that they have no schedule for.

The situation just leads to the fun, and anxiety.

The dealer said mine has been in transit since the 22nd, and it should be here a lot sooner than the 1st-2nd week of September.
Just wish they’d give me a rail # so I could dig into it.

Mine arrived at dealer today so was in mira loma from 8/6 until 8/11 - 5 days total.

arrived within original delivery window I was given 8/8-8/14 (8/11) and well before the 12 day push notification email I got on 8/3 that pushed the delivery from 8/20-8/26

Mine is still stuck on a rail car in talladega since July 30th.

The total shipping time from MAP to SoCal ended up being 23 days (vs the 19 days estimated in the tracker)
