I've seen a few complaints about the power drop down windows on door opening...
Why didn't Ford use powered operated handles synced to the window drop? They use them on the Mach E.... Without needing them...
My 10 year old Buick GS used them...
I'd think they could of eliminated the "window trim snagging" with this...

But then it makes me think, is Ford really cutting corners/maximizing profits with this vehicle? The absolute shit audio system, super-cheap interior materials, Lord knows what else...
$700 million invested in Bringing it to market, they REALLY need to watch the costing! Which worries me a bit...
My 2 door Badlands is gonna cost me $64,800 and $8800 tax! (CDN)
I really don't wanna feel like I'm driving a 4X4 Fiesta....

I’m not sure what people are expecting as far as the interior quality. I JUST test drove a Wildtrak and have been in an outer banks and black diamond.. the interior looks very nice and feels quality to me. It fits the vehicle. Is it plastic? Yes. Do some people just drive down the road rubbing their dash or something?

The mid package audio just sounds like a normal car stereo. You really notice the lack of surround sound though. Reminded me of the audio in my old Nissan Rogue.

I drove to the dealership in my brand new, extremely fully loaded Audi Q7 Prestige and was plenty happy with the quality in the Bronco. I mention the car to show that I’m used to luxury and the Bronco did not offend in any fashion.

This is no Ford Escape. It drove as premium as the price dictates.

I actually tested the window drop down and found it fast enough for me. I could see an issue if you really ripped that door open though. For me personally, it’s a fine speed.

Edit: Just test drove a Gladiator Rubicon - not even in the same ballpark as far as comfort on road. Felt like a 1980s caddy compared to a sports car.

I always laugh when I see Euro car testers feeling the dashboard for quality. Lol. I hear ya...
Thanks for the insight 👍🏻
I'm sure I'll be happy with most aspects of it. My last car was an Evoque dynamic coupe, so I'm also no stranger to quality design and materials.
But hey, the Escape has a fine, FINE soft touch dashboard! (my current ride)
Lol

I had every intention of testing it today too, but I forgot. It must have been fast enough because it didn't catch my attention by wobbling.

I watched tfls video when they opened the doors several times and not once did I notice the glass catching or making a sproingongong noise.

if the bronco does not fit your needs or you feel it is not up to your standards, then why are you spending your hard earned money on it? people complain about the plastic, or the windows, or the engines... if you hate everything about this car, why are you buying one. there are plenty of cars which should fit your needs and tastes. this is supposed to be an off road vehicle, not a limousine, or a luxury sports car. i am just at a loss for why people expect the world. all vehicles are going to be trade offs. no vehicle does everything. maybe if you don't like it after you test drive, you may want to look elsewhere...

One of the Bronco Nation vids, I watched it catch EVERY time they opened the door. 🤷

Hahaha... Why are you so offended? I love the Bronco dude! I'm just trying to justify why it costs so fucking much for some of the apparent short comings...

I just test drove a Gladiator Rubicon while the Bronco was fresh in my mind.

Jeep is so f*cked. It’s not even a competition. The Jeep cost more than my Bronco on order and rode worse in every way.

For those people driving down the road caressing their dash, the Jeep was a little more solid feeling.

quite baffling, isn't it? Then add those that "immediately" will switch out this or that and what not, I'd not buy a car where there's anything I don't like (which is why I don't own a Wrangler) just to go and spend more money on fixing those issues. But hey, not my money, do what you want. I just don't get it. My Badsquatch seems to come just the way I want it from the factory, won't be changing a thing for a long time. If ever. I'd not buy it otherwise.

Maybe they're leaving things to be upgraded on future model years to keep people coming back?

I dunno. I don't think any of these issues are going to concern me. But I also haven't driven one/mine yet. So who knows?

Um, every vehicle cost a lot today. You need to wander about a car lot and check out the prices for pick up trucks. BTW, one can buy a base two door Bronco with SAS package for $40K. I think that is a pretty good deal compared to what else is available.
