Request to Ford: offer 2 door soft top

Since Ford reads these posts I am requesting they create a Soft Top for the 2 door .It seems that the delivered Broncos are having issues now with the molded top ,so give in and design a soft top for my 2 door .It should be quicker than the mess you have now .

It's already designed.... Just not currently offered in OEM configuration. I suspect in the not too far future it will be a factory choice.

2 Door Bestops are out there, they were at the Super Celebrations months ago.......if Ford wants too.

A few people have speculated you can’t have factory soft tops on the 2 door for some weird legal reason.

All the same, I agree. At this point I’ll eat the 3k for a hard top if it means they start moving through 2 doors. Seems like 2 door production is all but halted right now.

MAP is building 2,795 broncos this week.
2 doors - 619
4 doors - 2,176
Hard tops - 1,823

MAP is building 4,435 vehicles(bronco and rangers) this week.

Think all 619 of them will sit in the lot with crap tops? The odds are high.

Well, since we are developing a “Santa List’ for @Ford Motor Company.

Ford, could you please allow the 2-door model potential owners to purchase a dual top option consisting of a Bestop Soft Top now with prep kit with delivery in calendar year 2021. Included in this option is a MOD top delivered in calendar year 2023.

You get a sold Bronco moving through your assembly line into the hands of an owner. We are removed from the MIC top backlog. Happy owner, happy assembly line worker, happy Ford.

So about 50,000 2 door reservations divided by 619 built a week gives us 80 weeks of time to build the reservations. If they can figure out the tops. So since they can't figure out the tops, this is probably why 2 door reservations aren't hearing a lot of news.

so is there a chance that at some point Ford just cancels people's reservations and just tells them "no soup for you, new plan, we will produce what we can and you will fight for it with everyone else - sorry but shit happens" - the reservation is with Ford but you choose the dealer who will sell it to you at whatever price you both agree to - for a $100 refundable deposit - without pricing yet on MY22 - so is it really a contract?
If Ford doesn't cancel them, is there a chance the dealers will, or at least some?

Should be interesting since I have already paid MAS in full for my Bronco. They better figure it out, because they took my money with the understanding that the assigned VIN is due delivery to me and that it is a 2021 model.
