Just got my Ford Folding Tailgate Table

Just received my Wildtrak with Tailgate Table. Table rattled terribly. Pix is my hack. I cut two circle foam pipe insulation pieces and attached them to each corner. Works perfectly and almost looks like its part of the table.

Got a call from my dealer to pick up my folding tailgate table. Instructions seem pretty simple. Build quality is very nice. Only a 25lb weight capacity though. Too bad I'll be a Labor Day weekend delivery. If I'm lucky.

25 lbs in Ford terminology means 40 pounds.

I thought it would be fun to cook some burgers and dogs right off the back of the tailgate, but I'd need some kind of heat shield in order to actually give that a try. I still want this, though. Maybe some members can help give some use cases for it.

Yeah. Think I'm going to skip this table. I was already unsure how much use it would get, but the weight limit seems a little restrictive.
The bigger issue for me though is the way it's mounted. Don't know why, but I wasn't expecting to have to drill holes in the tailgate for this. Plus those expanding bolts just seem like they're begging for the table to loosen and rattle around after a few months.
At least this time it's something I can take off my list, instead of another thing I'm adding.

I received mine also and it is in good shape right out of the box. That said, seems flimsy just as several have said. Might be better than nothing, but of course I can't say how it performs or how easy/hard it is to install until Ford builds my dang Bronco

I thought the same. Pretty sure the swing gate says "accessory ready" on it.

Do you happen to know the over all length and width? The pics look like you just measured the drawer itself and not the whole box. The reason I’m asking, is I’m curious if the drawer I made for my 4Runner can be modified to fit my ordered Bronco.

With the handle you are looking at 29x39.2

Got mine as well, paid the same and am also liking the grid for the molle pouches. Got a similar setup to yours w/ extinguisher, first aid kit, air compressor & portable shovel ready to go. Now all I need is the Bronco which had a blend date for yesterday 6/30.

Nice set up. Where do you guys get your MOLLE pouches/bags?
