Obligatory basesquatch moved from 7/26 to 8/16 after receiving ford email at about 9pm est tonight update

Nice to see they’re at least spreading out the emails vs. All coming out on a Thursday I suppose… I wonder if it’s just for folks who already had build weeks/VINs and were changed, or if they’re scheduling new ones throughout the week as well? Can anyone confirm this?

How were you able to completely change your order once you had a VIN? I’m curious if you don’t mind.

I really don't have a answer. I told the dealer I wasn't going to switch to a soft top and I had regrets about not getting the front locker and disco for whatever reason I had in my head, but I was willing to wait. I know the banks opened back up to let you switch to a soft top so I thought it was worth a try. Vin number and order number didn't change after I changed it I waited to hear it was kicked, but instead when I checked the Bronco "status" link ford had sent me it said Badlands instead of black diamond. Then today I got this exciting email that I "thought" for some reason even with my commodity issues I had moved up, only to get a email tonight kicking me in the face. People with a VIN getting a lot of flac on here about just being happy to have a Vin, but I suspect if they had a Vin and it was being treated like a ping pong ball in the goldfish bowl at the fair they'd be pretty concerned as well. Day 1 reservation non priority fyi.

Just checked with my dealer and I am moved back again to the week of 8/16. No email from Ford. July 19th -> August 3rd -> August 16th with no end in sight. I guess there goes my summer with a Bronco.

I had a production date of 6/28, never heard anything about being delayed, so I was hoping for "no news is good news". Nope... at 8:50pm, got the dreaded "We have made an adjustment to the production date for your 2021 Bronco BADLANDS." Now it's been pushed back to August 9. I knew something had to be up when the window sticker never showed up. I hate to be a whiner, but I live in Ohio. We basically have three good months for driving around topless. I had consoled myself with the thought I would have at least half of the summer to enjoy it. Now it's getting harder and harder to rationalize spending close to $50K on a "fun" vehicle, when even if through some miracle it shows up this year, I won't be able to fully enjoy it for months.

It will still be fun in the winter / snow...and you will have it for next summer.

I just received an email from Ford today that my delivery is being pushed from 7/4 to 7/29!!

It’s already built, so I don’t understand why it would take a whole month to ship it 26 miles!!!!

Interesting. I don’t think we’ve seen this before here on the forum.

I’d recommend asking dealership for your vehicle visibility report, maybe more details are in there!

Wonder if it has to do with the recall being talked about with wheel tire issue and having to send some back to the factory.

Check with your dealer for the actual delivery notice. My tracker still says it won't be here until next week, even though it's been in my driveway since yesterday afternoon.
