Bronco dealer order manipulation

Have a question hoping someone on here can help. I ordered my bronco almost the day orders were available to order with my build. Dealer then screwed my whole build with none of my packages I chose. I have tried numerous times to have them change them. Add said sasquatch pack, mic roof, as well as rock sliders. The dealer says ford will not process the changes is this dealer just trying to get the bronco to arrive fast and screw me over just so they get their commission? Total build up specs were a total of nearly 60k. With the the down grades it's sitting at like 45k. I would think dealer wouldn't try to get screwed out of the additional 15k

I know in some situations we are limited to what can be changed in our ordering system... However I think Ford can do mostly anything up until its scheduled (assigned a VIN), seems more like a willingness on the dealer's side. I had a customer who originally wanted a badlands with a manual, opted out of Sasquatch. I tried to change him to priority 99 to push him off for a 22 when the Mansquatch is an option. I was unable to. Sent an email to our Ford rep and it was handled within 24 hours. If you feel like you're being pushed around, I would say call corporate for some clarity.

Well, first off they are lying out of their ass. You can change anything up until you get you VIN assigned. Call them back, and tell them you know better. And, if they say no again tell you'll call Ford too see if they can do it for you. (They can't, but it may light a fire under those lying asses). Good luck

I ordered it what I want to say January when dealers started taking orders. I've been fighting with them since I even had wrong color and not until now have they changed that. The dealer rep states ford themselves refuses to change anything and now in worried because I have a vin assigned and a build date of July 19.

Yep, sorry to hear of your issue. Other folks may have better idea but I can't think of anything other than a complaint to Ford if you feel the Dealer has not acted appropriately.

Your dealer lied to you. They were able to modify your order into whatever you wanted (assuming it was an option), but they refused to.

Now that you have a VIN assigned, it *will* be built however the order went in.

If you don't want it, the dealership will happily take it and sell it to someone else for more money.

If you still want a Bronco, you're stuck ordering a new one...

HERE'S WHAT I RECOMMEND.

You get on the horn with Bronco Customer Service IMMEDIATELY. Let them know what is going on and generate a ticket for you.

With any luck, you'll be able to reserve / order a new bronco (through another dealer!!!!) and Ford will be able to update that order with your original Timestamp. That would put you back in line, and not at the end of it.

Sounds like they want you to reject it when it comes in so they can poach it and tack on an ADM when they sell it to someone else...I don't know why else they would do that. They are lying to you....

Thank you to all. This was my initial thoughts on what and why they were doing it which prompted me to tell them I would sue, but made no difference they said they were only getting 75 broncos to that dealership why they probably altered mine. And if anyone wants to know it was sunrise ford of fontana

@Evenflo1, Edson, too add to Zack's always helpful post I have another thought. In my conspiracy riddled mind (when it comes to shady dealers) they may be hoping you'll refuse delivery, giving them a change to sell it with an added dealer fee. So, if you can't get it straightened out per Zack's instructions, you could take possession of this one. Then you could order another Bronco (from a different dealer of course) to you specs, drive this one for awhile, and trade it for the new one when it arrives. I really don't think the big Bronco's are going to depreciate in price very much for a few years.
