I too didn't get it, now if I'm August scheduled I'd be pissed NOT getting attachments, I changed my dual top weeks ago.

So - here's a question. Since they have the capacity to build four-door soft tops for dealer stock...as someone who only placed a reservation 12 days ago and am waiting for my dealer to submit my order....

can they even submit my order? is there now an opportunity because I actually want the soft top to still get a MY21?

I very highly doubt that dealer builds will have any affect on allocations. The whole point is that Ford can build more bronco chassis than hard tops, so they either have to slow down on building chassis or send them out as “undesirable” builds to dealers to sell.
Unfortunately drax is correct. Dealer builds will take away from allocation amounts therefore a domino effect for us getting ours if we stick with the MIC top.

I knew about this yesterday, so I'm not shocked by this email, but am obviously disappointed.

The hardtop prep thing is good, but I do think they should have also guaranteed factory pricing for the hardtop later for those that were waiting for the MOD top. Right now it seems like they'd be asking to pay full price at the parts department for it whenever they arrive sometime in CY 23.
EXACTLY. At a MINIMUM Ford needs to tell us how much it’s going to cost to go Mod later. How else can we make an informed decision?

Ford is inching me into the Gladiator market with every BS delay and excuse available. My friend just purchased the Mojave and its pretty nice plus it has 7500lb towing capacity.
Mine will be here in under two weeks…and I kept my Bronco reservation.
Do it!

This is my plan; get the soft top now and wait till the MOD painted top comes out then buy that? But then will I be making a mistake? I didn’t want a soft top I am not buying a model T I want the MOD top because it was the best top now I have to take a soft top and get the MOD top at a jacked up price? What the hell! But as always bend over and take it. I want my new vehicle as soon as possible so I will change my order to the soft top and have the option hard top accessories add after September and hopefully get my Bronco in December.

I haven’t. read the whole post but this may have been covered…if so I apologize. i contacted my dealer after this latest email and he had NO IDEA, it was the first he heard of it and wanted me to forward him the email…DAMN, Ford has created a serious clusterfuc&. It’s past the ridiculous stage at this point. Just a general grip, that’s all. I’m almost at my wits end with this whole debacle

If it helps, I switched from 2.7L to 2.3L, Sasquatch to optional BL wheels, Lux to High, and no Tow. May not help, but it is the best I can do.
How long ago BuzzyBud? Did you get a VIN?

So what do you expect them to do? Send you your bronco with NO TOP instead of producing sellable vehicles with soft tops? Of courss not. Did they fuck up? Yes. But at the end of the day everyone has to get over it.... I will admit having a VIN/build date makes having this opinion easier, but I switched because I want a bronco more than I want to cancel because no hardtop.
How about producing more f’ing MIC tops! Complete BS, there are ways to make that happen, Ford just won’t spend the money to fix the issue. Instead they tell their reservation holders to bend over again while they sell to Joe Blow off the street to further maximize revenue.
