And for the record I haven't received a build date yet on my 2-door FE.

The only email I received was in April (could have been may?) indicating I had a VIN and a June 21 build week. Never heard a peep after that email, but checked in with my dealer weeks later who informed me (and shared a screen shot) that I was moved to July 12. However, yesterday, while waiting for that damn email, I checked and I'm now "in production" but no sticker available yet. Maybe I didn't get an email because I wasn't actually delayed... who knows. Just sharing for context. The kicker is I won't even be back in the states until almost November so I was hoping for a delay. She'll collect dust for a few months

Called Ford today. Was informed my Badlands is now showing 8/2 instead of the original build date of 7/19. So I was delayed 2 weeks. Here is to hoping everything gets caught back up.

I called (800) 392-3673 yesterday and wasn't able to get any specific info on my build date. What number did you call if you don't mind me asking? Thanks!

Thank you for the phone number. I’m ready to scream as I just got off the phone with Ford and the rep told me they are no longer giving out updated build dates as of today. Up until that useless call I’ve been pretty chill about everything. Has anyone else had the same experience? Thanks in advance!

there was an article released today that hardtop orders won’t be getting updates for an extended time. With map shutting down for two weeks it is said ford moves a bunch of builds to 8/2 as a holding spot. Chances are these builds could slightly get moved forward or backward from this date.

it seems the trend is everyone was pushed 2 weeks.

-- So I called the other day and the person asked me a couple of times - why I did not call the dealer. "on today" for that information. The weird thing was they kept saying "on today" instead of just "today" - but either way, I just told them I preferred to talk to them.

Mines a soft top. It was annoying that she couldn’t or wouldn’t tell me what my build date was showing a few days ago. I’ll try my dealer now.

When and how did you get your new build date?

So my dealer confirmed I’ve been moved from July 5 to the week of July 26. I’m just happy to have the info. Will be communicating with my dealer exclusively from here on out.

After 10 months, numerous setbacks, on again-off again misleading information, I have decided that the very next change for the worse with my order will be the last. If I end up cancelling my order, should I tell the dealership or try to go through Ford?
I don't want to screw people waiting and give the build to the dealership to mark up.

Well, at 2:01 I just received the straw that broke the camel's back. 2023 ? LOL
