Added a bunch of pics from the west coast Cactus Gray black diamond.

I don't know about you all but I still have no idea if i want to sasquatch or not. Sometimes I see the stance of the BD and think it's great, maybe just a level and good to go. That lets me go wild on extras, accessories, and upgrades too. But then I look at simply adding 33s (~1000-1500), aftermarket coilovers (~1000-1200), and wheels (~1300) and I'm almost at sasquatch price anyway, but without a front locker, the special bilstein dampers, or the stronger front diff.

decisions, decisions....
It was a really easy decision for me ...no MT on Sas. So no Sas for me. I can get everything else aftermarket.

When i was figuring out what we were going to order, i had to ask myself "what am i really going to use it for?". I'm new to offroading/adventuring and I'm not interested in rock crawling. I also don't care about the 35s just because they look good. Yes, im not excited about the weaker front diff and standard shocks, but i won't be pushing/abusing those components for quite some time, or possibly never, so standard BD will do.

We ordered it with all the things i can't change later (bigger motor, 4A), and i know they're will be a healthy aftermarket for the suspension stuff if i ever want to get crazy.

Just my .02

Not sure if you know, but you CAN get manual on Sasquatch, it just moves you to a MY22 build automatically. Might be something to consider.

Yup, same here. I’m not going to be taking on the Rubicon any time soon, it’s just nice to think about having all that extra suspension built in from the factory. I’d be lying if I said the looks alone of the lift on 35s isn’t a huge reason also though.

Hey, i completely understand. Neither of the thoughts on those 35s are wrong. They do look sweet, just not high on my list. I know it will end up costing more over time, but i will end up with these on mine eventually:

Hi all, thought I would start a thread solely for pictures of the black Diamond WITHOUT Sasquatch package. For me, the looks/ride height of the standard Black Diamond are really going to be the differentiator of going BD or a lower trim with Sasquatch. I’ve only seen a small number of pictures of this trim, so if you have any, post them up!

Why do you think some vehicles look like there is more clearance between the tire and fender than others?? Is it the difference in engines? Would the 2.7L make it squat more than the Std 2.3L?? Maybe it's just an illusion..

The rear ride height is changed a little with the tow package.

I was curious so I priced via Costco tire & tire rack if unavailable at Costco. To keep it consistent I used BFG KO2s since both have them.

245/75/17 $217
255/75/17 $248 (Jeep Willys size)
265/70/17 $211
285/70/17 $247
315/70/17 $300

so for 5 it would be $180+ to go from BD standard to BL size. The standard BD is not unreasonable for sure.
Thinking about asking the dealer to swap 255/ 80R17 Tires for my BD when I get to order. A little narrower (10" Wide vs 10.4") than the 265/70/R17, but a full 33.1" High Tire. Thinking it will give me a little more clearance and less rpm's, so maybe better mileage.. Found some Toyo AT Tires for about $222.00 or Falken Wildpeak for $237.00..

I don’t think the mileage will change much. I would take a look at your black diamond on 32’s before upsizing, I honestly think it looks great. I figured I’d tell my dad to upgrade to 33’s to until I saw it in person... it really doesn’t need it.

When the stock tires are worn out then I’d say knock yourself out though.
