So just sitting here wondering who (company) will be the first to come out with some carbon fiber or fiberglass roadster door inserts like could be had with the Gen 1 Bronco's?

I've been thinking about the best way to do this the last few days as I doubt many would want any kind of permanent install that requires drilling or bonding. What I came up with was a shell that attaches to the body via the hinges the same as the factory doors in the front, and in the rear would be a bracket that secures the rear of the door to the striker. This would make it non-permanent and make it fairly easy to swap out the full doors for the roadster inserts in just a few minutes.

Of course, by definition, roadster means 2 door

Those look pretty good. not sure how practical that is instead of just running without the door, but they look neat.

How is this for a roadster.
$5,000 credit card deposit + additional $45,000 wire xfer within 10 days. That is tying up some money.

Actually, by definition it means 2 seater....makes no mention of the number of doors.

It isn't to be practical - it is to make the door openings look finished. Better than the bolts and stickers all over the opening.

I like the idea a lot.

it certainly does look better than the door frame. For the right price, that would be a pretty tempting option.

I thought you could buy these fenders and door inserts from Ford as part of their modular setup....There is a video on it.

So, how are those inserts coming along?
Going nowhere until I have a Bronco door to pull molds from.
