Honestly just build what you want and walk away with the mentality if mine gets pulled now fantastic. If not it will eventually get built with everything I asked for and have no regrets on dropping items.

I'm either #1 or 2 at my dealer with a shortly after launch timestamp and didn't even expect to get a vin# for at least 2 more months. It was a nice surprise as I started work today.

I think youre exactly right. Order what you want, and wait. Its hard not to obsess on it, and forums like this reinforce the obsession! And getting a production email is great, but not a guarantee . . . I've been rescheduled twice! I have a nice car now, so I'm trying to enjoy Summer, and obsess over a few upgrades . . . Even though I've never driven the car and can't be sure I even need an upgrade!

I received the build email today and I have the MIC and tow package. The only difference between your build and mine are the lux vs. high and the optional wheels, but I get the feeling that the most important thing is dealership allocation.

Yeah, I live in Dallas and I'm sure they have a pretty decent number allocated. But I've asked 5-6 times and either they won't know or won't tell me. All they've said is that "You were one of our first reservations."

Received my email this morning! Scheduled for week of July 12, base 2-door 2.7L. Maybe I will be able to see it before 2022.
Had almost given up hope, but this has put a little sunshine into my day. Now if I can stretch the 3.5 just a few more months.

Guess I should add...July 13 reservation (around 11 p.m. central due to finding right dealership issues) Changed dealers after the fact because of same dealership issue. My dealer relocated to neighboring town but still used the old zip code leaving me unable to find them that night. Chose another dealership in a frantic hoping that I wouldn't miss that day 1 reservation.
