Thanks. I really like it, but I was worried about it before putting it on. The only chrome on the entirety of the ride is the lug nuts. The "Bronco" in chrome made me hesitant, but after seeing the pics from a distance, it looks black like the other emblems.
I just put some badges on mine. I loved the script badge, but it’s becoming the main stream/go to badging. I drove a 79 Bronco in HS, so that generations badging is special to me.
Thanks, it was worth the wait to me for sure, but I was dead set on getting one when/if they every began production again. I owned an 06 wrangler and, IMO, the Bronco is hands down better in all aspects (yes I know technology has rapidly improved in the past 15 years…but has the wrangler????) I...
Thanks for the lead, I had seen some original emblems also. My father is a retired body man, guess I could call him out of retirement for a solution. Going to eventually find something for sure!
79BKO ... mine was black with red interior. Had yellow/yellowish-orange/orange stripes (faded out...
Took delivery in early August. I’ve put about 2600 miles on it, even took a short family vacation to beach this past weekend. Pictures sow the progress I’ve made to turn it into my individual Bronco. I love the script Bronco badges folks have added to fenders, but looking for a different route...
Sorry, just seeing this. Stock suspension with base steelies wrapped in 285’s. It seems just right. Since these photos, I’ve painted the bronco badge on rear black and I have also painted the lettering in the grill VB to match.
Finally got some free time to strip it down and hit the camp/lake house land. Pretty much done for now, just waiting on my blue paint to come in. Going to paint the lettering in grill VB, the bronco badge on back in black, and possibly do the Ford emblem VB/black.
1. Here is usually $125/wheel, but I got a deal b/c of amount of previous business
2. Yes will need re-flash
3. Minimal, low stress driving most of time
4. Nah, same as 3
I’ve only got to put a little over 600 miles on it so far. I was getting right at 20 before the switch, now computer says about 18.5. That may be incorrect also due to not have my speedometer reset for the tires yet.
Base came with no tint anywhere. I did all the glass matching except for the...
Not to bad, but noticeable (I believe). I didn’t do a great job of scheduling wheels powder coating and tires coming in, which left the Bronco on the lift for about a week. I really liked the pep with the stock tires, but I haven’t really pushed on it with the 285s. I’ll just put around in this...
2.7/auto. I love the idea of a stick, but I remember my wrangler in city traffic. Pride wouldn’t let me go with a 4 cyl, it was hard enough to do a 6 cyl in my F150 I had.
BFG KO2 285/75/16 on base with stock wheels. I’ve only ran them a couple days, but I did make a 50 minute trip (one way) on them, which is likely longest I’ll really ever make. Maybe they aren’t recommended for a 7” wheel, but they seem fine so far.
Thanks for the pictures and the information. We began today, only getting to work over the lunch hour while he has to students, and will finish it up tomorrow. It's definitely more than just a splice here and a splice there. We followed the linked sheets here from this thread, which are very...
Thank you. I feel like Ford could have thrown in a piece of paper with a website for directions or something, but I also realize they got bigger fish to fry at the moment. I honestly had no fear I would get an A+ job because of my brothers background, I just know it was a box of wires and a...
