People with build dates... do you dread opening emails?

Is it just me or is anyone else who has a date /vin ( and before anyone says anything, I know this is an unpopular subject for those without) dreading opening there emails? Because there is a chance that there is bad news, that you have been bumped back, that you are no longer scheduled? Ugh, it freaks me out every time I open it and I’m relieved when there is no update from Ford and probably will be until July 5 when it’s expected to be build

Haha yea I get it, but I’m 40, this will be the first new vehicle I have ever owned, it’s kinda a big deal for me personally

I don’t focus on it. I was bumped once from June 7 to June 28 and if it happens again, I won’t be surprised. Not happy about it but can’t do anything about it. Many don’t have any news at all.

I have not heard of anyone who actually got a VIN get a cancelation from Ford just a move in the week of build. Then again there are not many of us with VIN so...

Either way there is nothing anyone can do. Those of us with a VIN can't change our order to try and hit a moving target or anything. We are the lucky ones...who just are still waiting like everyone else.

I haven't received an email so I have accepted the fact that I may not have it by the Summer or Fall. I live close to the beach and was looking forward to taking it out especially after awful year of 2020. More time to save for the down payment.

Honestly, I'm just appreciative to have a VIN now. I totally expect the potential for delays on the actual delivery.
