I assume that a lot of guys and gals here are overlooking this >> Auxiliary switches in overhead console

If you plan to run any electronics like lights and what not then you want this. There are 6 Auxiliary switches in overhead console and they are rated at switch 1&2 at 15 amps each, 3&4 at 10 amps each and 5&6 at 5 amps each. prewired and fused and ready to go. And all switches will only work with the ignition on. So just attached your wires in the engine bay and that's it.

I am mentioning this as there seems to be only 2 trims that has them ... black diamond and badlands.

BUT there are other options I want they don't match up with the black diamond and badlands trims

Agreed, the outer banks is fine for me but I am disappointed it doesn’t have the seating options or rubber flooring I wanted. The jump to the badlands + lux package might price me out.

Some of the options that go with trim level to me are a little disappointing.

Big Bend + Mid package is pretty much everything I wanted except the seat material. I hate cloth seats but don't want to have to move up to black diamond to get vinyl or outer banks to get optional leather

EDITED after being corrected by Toyhoarder lol

Badlands only has vinyl or leather, but is above black Diamond. Did you mean to say big bend?

I don't care for or want the driver aid / safety features in the Mid Package and there is no listed way to get the 12" screen without the Lux / leather. Definitely want to see if there are individual upgrades for some of these things.

I really wish the options could be picked a la carte. I don't want to have to get the Lux Package just to get the 10 speaker sound system. That sound system is super important to me as a lot of my time will be spend with the top and doors off. It stinks that, judging from the model spec comparison, I would need to go all the way up to the Outer Banks to even be able to add that on as a package.

I guess I will have to wait until Crutchfield has some good speaker system upgrades.

Hopefully when the online configurator goes online, it will allow for some items to be added independent of the trims. This is the case with the Raptor. The issue with making so many trims and with so many packages, is that it will be a nightmare for the factory. I bet everyone will order the 35" wheels and thus demand will be greater than supply and it will slow down prod on Broncos with the 35" optioned wheels.

I will order in the sasquatch for the high clearance suspension but I do not want the beadlock wheels and thus they will go on sale immediately.

This Ford document from their website says the auxiliary switches are available or standard on every trim.

LOL it is confusing but I'm sure in time it will all make sense. I had to laugh because I already got a call from the dealer to confirm and the first them they told me was that Ford didn't even tell them which version I marked I was interested in. For me I did sign up for the Badlands but am not set on it if I can get all options I want on a lower trim. Right now the options that really steered me in this direction was the Marine vinyl seats and the rubberized floor but that could in turn change once a full configurator is released.

Any idea which trim has the combo/code entry on the b pillar like most fords? Such a useful feature.

I believe this is actually going to be a line item add on in the build and price, and not necessarily 100% trim related, based on the PDF.
based on it not being on the PDF? or did i miss it or a second PDF that has more options & add-ons.

thanks!

It's not mentioned anywhere in the PDF, so that was my thought process.

You would think it would be included in the Tech/Lux packages automatically though.

Got it, just wanted to make sure I was using the same logic. It should just be standard but I guess no use when the doors are off anyway.
