So 24 or 25 allocations and are you saying just now reduced to 17 allocations?

That would be a not great ~32% reduction.
I'll try to give all the info as I remember (over time) They had about 70 reservations end of December. Ford said it looks like 25 allocations, but Ford reduced it to 17 not long after. Based on loose memory, they converted about 45 of them to orders in January, I'm not sure how many additional orders came thru since. The allocation reduction was earlier this year, not recently. I don't know when MY21 cutoff took place (if yet) so I'm guessing that Ford is starting to eliminate orders that will not be MY21 (whether they were 99's or Mod tops etc). I think today was the day Ford was warning dealers as a deadline to modify to aid production so...... To me it's good news. Basic math 45 conversions - 22 units moved to MY22 = 23 MY21 Broncos to my dealer. 17 allocations plus a mannequin and a P1 makes 19 units. Lets hope all of my speculation is good for me.

They know who they are because most of them have some type of relationship with Ford at a very high level. They're not just customers who Ford picked and said, you're a VIP. In my case, one is a well known actor...
Say hi to Mr. Cranston for me. We go way back. I first met him when he was a high school chemistry teacher in Albuquerque years ago. :p

I guess I'm a true glutton for punishment. Ordered a Lightning last night to go with the two Bronco reservations I have. This on top of the Bronco Sport I got my soon to be 16 year old daughter for her first car and I'm feeling pretty deflated at this point. Dealer, GSM, reached out this morning and none of his 3 FE's were previewed this morning. No email from Ford aside from the sales person asking me if I was actually planning on fulfilling the Lightning order. Almost at a loss for words.....

Just informed that I won't be getting mine in Dec 2021, they are saying that I am getting bumped to Feb 2022. I actually may just have been bumped to cancelling my order, I am that mad right now.

Your dealer is telling you that? They wouldnt have even known if you were getting it in Dec, so i wouldn't trust anything they tell you.

Who told you Dec 21 to begin with? They were just pulling it out of their butt if someone gave you that specific of a time-frame. Ford hasn't sent estimates yet...and nothing past July has been scheduled yet.

This is correct @mpeugeot . The only insight into estimated build dates are for reservations that have been assigned a VIN. If you've been assigned a VIN, most of the dates are for weeks in June and July so far.

EDIT - just to add as a possible exception... does your build have a late availability option? If it does, the dealer may be adjusting the estimate based on that and potential delay on whatever late-availability option you chose.

MY21 deliveries will likely go later than that - last I heard production of MY21 was supposed to go to Thanksgiving at least, and maybe early Dec. Who knows?

Are you a MY22? If so, Ford has indicated that deliveries of MY22 builds will likely begin in February next year.

So we had the big Priority Order/FE? batch emails on 15 Apr. then we had the first, (and to my knowledge) only batch emails for regular, non priority, non FE exclusive, on 22 Apr. At some point between those two releases Ford distributed an email saying, in effect, that the batch emails would be a regular rhythm of FE, Reg, clean-up, clean-up, nothing scheduled, then start at FE again. Ford also jazzed everybody up by saying....hey guys, ditch your hitches, safari bars and MIC tops before May 12 to increase your odds. Then the same message to change orders by the 19th......with the clear implication that there would be scheduling the week of the 9th and 16th. But really, there has been nothing for a month unless there are late emails today. Either Ford has a sick sense of humor or they are as clueless as us. Would it have killed them to advise us of the change of plans so that everyone isn’t spending every Thursday refreshing email all day. I guess they’re focused on their Lightning project and us Bronco stooges can just eat cake.

Ford also communicated to dealers that general scheduling wouldn't happen until next week...

I don't think it was at all "clearly implied" that there would be scheduling the week of the 9th. Just that changes needed to be made by the dates of the 9th or 16th to make sure they would be right for whenever scheduling got started again.

Part of the problem is that we're all making assumptions and inferences on very incomplete information. And, the vast majority of Bronco order holders aren't making those same assumptions and inferences because they aren't here reading the forum every day. They're still planning to hear sometime before the end of May what their estimated delivery window will be knowing nothing different.

That ignorance looks pretty wise right now. We would all benefit from not attaching such emotion to expectations that have never been officially communicated to us.

When was your reservation? Which top did you have? My dealer was given a list of units that will not be MY21, so I'm getting the feeling MY21's are a process of elimination at this point.
