The conspiracy theorist in me says possible arson by an upset employee due to lax covid precautions. Either that or poor working conditions. There were stories/articles about that at Subaru plants resulting in suicides.

Either that or they have poor fire suppression systems.

You laugh, but that's actually happening with non-essential parts. Kenworths and Peterbilts are rolling down the assembly line right now without door modules due to the chip shortage.

I'm taking the optimist view point on this. Ford has guaranteed sales with our Bronco orders. So, the reduction in F-150's and other models could be to allow chip allocation for Bronco orders. Also, who is to say that they haven't already secured the chips for our builds. Until something official comes from Ford, we should all just calm down.

Here's an idea...why not go back to making cars that aren't full of computers? I don't need all the fancy stuff. We all did just fine for many years without computer technology in our cars.

Ford is not reducing production of the F-150 to help out Bronco orders . The F-150 is there golden child it might be the other way around and push us back even more hope not

I don't believe that they would sacrifice the Bronco either. I think they want the Bronco to hit the road asap. Same way they wanted the Mach-E out there as well.
