Comes with the soft top as standard on the 4 door.

If you order the hard top you don't get the soft top too.

But you can order the soft top AND the hard top combination.

And they all extra cost money except the soft top only option.

and if you think the sarcasm is bad now, just wait...we have NOTHING ELSE to do between order deadline and May 3rd, so the sky is the limit on all the smart-ass answers, sarcasm, rumor, innuendo, flaming and silly poll questions very soon.

After May 3rd it won't get better either - it'll just be nervous energy for those getting a bronco in the foreseeable future, and manic depression for those who are not...more or less.

If I have a Nintendo playcube and GameStop wants to give me $3 for it as a trade in and I want an Xbox Gamestation that costs $47. What did I owe? $44.

Hence the answer is this, you’re trading in one to get the other and paying the difference in price. You can have both for $47 or only one of them for $44
but you already own the playcube so you're only paying $44

IT'S A 2 DOOR BRONCO HERE AT USELESS FORD DEALERSHIP!

Sorry, I felt compelled...
That Ricart lady is never going to live that down. I wonder if she speaks to her husband that way.

"We're having pot roast, mashed potatoes and green beans for dinner tonight."

"Once again, that's pot roast, mashed potatoes and green beans."

"Honey, if you're just now listening, we're having pot roast, mashed potatoes and green beans for dinner tonight."

"Just wanted to let you know, I'm currently making pot roast, mashed potatoes and green beans for dinner."

"Just in case you couldn't see the pot roast, mashed potatoes and green beans in front of you, that's what this is." :LOL:

sorry don't understand - just when i order no hard top then the price will be $695 lower - right
Originally you didnt have to order a bronco with any top. That mentality is hidden in the pricing even though it isnt available. Nothing at the car dealership is free. Maybe the mints at the counter are, maybe.

Lets say the soft top costs $1000. That is baked into the base price of the Bronco. That means the MIC hardtop cost $1695.

So you're paying $1695 for the hardtop MINUS the $1000 for the soft top...thus you get $695.

If a train is headed West at 65mph, and a car is headed South at 35mph, what is the weather in Bangkok for Mardi Gras?

There, I fixed your question for you.

I think your assumption is that a hard top would cost only $695, and not $695 more than a soft top. If that were true, then yes, you should get the soft top also when you buy the hard top. But, the hard top costs more than the soft top, so as pointed out, you have two options:

1) Pay the $695 difference to get only the hard top
2) Pay an even greater difference ($1,795) to get both tops.

This seems to assume a cost of $1,100 for the soft top alone. Note that the painted hard top is an $1,895 upgrade or $2,495 if you also want the soft top. If you were thinking of getting both tops, the painted combo, while the most expensive also seems to be the best value, as it is only $700 more than the molded hard top combo, but it's a $1,200 upgrade as a stand-alone option from the soft top.
BINGO ...THANKS BRO
Okay, to do the actual math...

The price to upgrade from soft top to hard top is $695, so the hard top costs $695 more than the soft top.

The price for both is $1795. Let S stand for "soft top" and H stand for "hard top".

H = S + 695
H + S = 1795

so, (S + 695) + S = 1795
S + S = 1100
S = 550 (Soft top alone is $550)

meaning H = 550 + 695
H = 1245

So the soft top costs $550 on its own, and the hard top costs $1245 ($695 more than the soft top). The price of them combined is $1795.

Excellent Analysis ....
