Restoring a cancelled reservation?

I had a reservation I made 8/12. I cancelled it 8/26. Since I want to order after all, is there a way to get that reservation date back?

I doubt it... Especially since you cancelled it. You could always call and ask though.

Once you formally post in the thread below, the admin revoke your forum rights and delete your account. No way to get your reservation back.

It still shows in my ford account (as cancelled), so the number is easy. I've heard there's a way to uncancel but don't know what it is (thus the thread). Original dealer is the same as I want to use now (granger).

That restoration is when a dealer screws you over.

Under section 10 of their reservation terms and conditions from a recent mustang, it says all cancellations are final. I’d imagine it’s the same.

Same paragraph of the Bronco terms:

10. Reservation Cancellation; Transfer; Assignment.
You may cancel your Reservation and request a refund online at owner.ford.com. If you cancel your Reservation before you order your vehicle, the full Reservation Deposit will be credited back to your credit card within 10 business days. Please note that all cancellations are final. You may not transfer or assign your Reservation or any other rights under these Terms and Conditions.

Since your reservation date is after mine, I hope you get it restored and then switch it to Kearny Mesa Ford to increase their reservation numbers and allocation.

Can I ask why you cancelled after 2 weeks?

There was no additional obligation. I would venture that if you hadn't converted it by 3/19 you would have gotten the $100 back.

My read on it is:
I jumped on the band wagon, then I jumped off...now I see an opportunity to make a buck and want back in.

I know firsthand that you can't restore a cancelled reservation. After killing a lot of time on the phone with Ford Marketing for months about this very issue yielded no good results.
