Not entirely true, some parts of FordPass Connect are free, some are not.A quick google search of “Ford pass connect fees” says ford got rid of fees in 2019 in connect equipped vehicles. Might be a 2-year free trial?

I would likely choose to build a base with 2.3L and manual transmission, and a wildtrak lux with all the options. That's if I get to choose.
