Just curious on the definition of "total cost." ... Including destination charges? Fees? Taxes?

Total, as in "Walk out the door", price. That includes everything, tax, title, dealer fees, destination charges. Et al.

I'd guess he bought at right around invoice.
Just for rough math, while B&Ping, I just assume the price shown is invoice with sales tax (7% for me) added back on. It is usually within a a hundred or two. Close enogh for "rough" math.

I will be buying mine on x plan came out to $45k which was also $230 above invoice and some change but sales tax in IL is almost 3k...so yeah I love my state...?

Yeah, when I read this earlier it sounded off till I thought about it. That’s about 2K off invoice.

Don’t feel bad, Colorado is 6-9% tax for cars. Then to register a new 40-50K car is easily 800-1000 and it only goes down by like 100-150 a year. Colorado is a blood sucking shit hole. ?

High taxes in Illinois???? Never heard such a thing. Well, other than our Govenor running ads and billboards in Ill. to lure business across the border...LOL
