Not flaming, but what was clear about it? It was all a mathematical exercise based on a guesstimate of reservations conversions.

My dealer is a small dealership and gave me specific numbers as to their number of reservation holders (less than 30) and their allotment from Ford for MY '21 units (less than 10). I was a late reservationist and my dealer said plainly I am a MY '22 delivery and that MY '22 production begins December 2021. According to Ford 2-door body styles are one of the delay drivers.
The reason Zach used the mathematical gymnastics is that Ford has only given an estimated allocation so a dealership with 10 may lose or gain allocation by the time that April arrives...

Ford has set nothing in stone for any dealership just some ideas of what may happen...

When the ordering is finalized and Ford has set the final allocation, and the commodities are handles then you will know where you are on the list...

Will something silly like rubber floor liners delay delivery? If delivery delay items are not confirmed at ordering time, but much later when production schedules are released, can small adjustments be made to speed up the delivery date? I fear my 2.7 Sasquatch BD is a recipe for a delayed delivery despite ordering on 7/13.....

@Zach@Granger @Granger Ford - I am curious if you can see exact time stamp on your end. Reason being, and what I’m seeing with some other comments is people who reserved a couple hours after the launch on the 13th but the reservation date says the 14th. I got through at like 10pm est on the 13th but my reservation states the 14th. Do I fit into 13th reservations or 14th? How exact does it get on your end?

Thanks for the transparency - it is extremely appreciated in this business!!!

Right? I agree with you. Much of the confusion is likely attributed to us all receiving confirmation emails on the evening of July 13th, yet the actual date highlighted within the email states July 14th.

Got my email at 2100L (Mountain Time Zone) on the 13th, yet my reservation says 14th.
Can anyone here confirm that if their actual confirmation email verbiage says July 13, regardless of when the email was received?
Yes, this. I'll bet everyone who thinks their reservation says "07/13" is probably looking at the timestamp of the confirmation e-mail and not the "Date reservation placed" at the bottom. Ford hasn't changed any dates on reservations. My 07/13 reservation (and email confirmation date) shows the reservation was placed on the 14th.

Regardless, if someone made a reservation on opening day, they can consider themselves of having a "07/13" reservation and feel pretty good about getting a '21 Bronco, notwithstanding picking a configuration that could put them into a '22.

If you can't follow the information, it's not their fault.

Ford told the dealers they'll get a percentage of converted orders as allocations. How the hell would they have the final number of converted orders yet to give any whole number allocation estimate? You have until the third week in March to convert or not.

Thanks for the update Zach. As long as I get mine before the DMV takes my license I'll be fine. :)

It is a simple request: What is their initial allocation number? What percent is that of their reservations (before 9/18 or total)?

It is understood that this is not final allocation and final allocation is partly based on converted orders.

Even if it is just for science, what is initial allocation (known now) and what is final allocation (known later)?

I have a 9-13 reservation date. I am not in a major rush.

Would like to get a 2022 MY in April of 2022. Will be getting a 4 door SAS 2.7 engine.

Do you think this will be possible?

Unless you can secure a lower than 1% interest rate I would agree with putting down as much money as you responsibly can. Interest rates on bank accounts, CDs and the like are really low right now. Plus some people do not have a long credit history or poor credit history and cannot secure a loan for a larger amount at a reasonable interest rate.

Also some people just hate having debt lol.
James, I'm at the age that my money has already worked for me. So yes, I'll be paying cash. I've heard, but cannot confirm, that you can't take it with you. :)

I agree - I had my reservation in and confirmed 9 minutes after reservations opened on the 13th as you can see on my email timestamp but it still shows that my reservation was placed on the 14th.

I can see them sharing their allocation numbers with their reservation customers only and only after conversions are completed so we have a better idea of when to expect our Bronco, but asking them to share their allocation on a public site - when thousands of other Ford dealerships aren't sharing anything at all (I mean, c'mon, most of the other dealerships aren't even telling customers what they're going to charge for these things) - is kind of ridiculous.

That would only open the floodgates on criticism from the vultures, high hopes from customers, and speculation from people who have nothing better to do. People will assume they're a MY21 and then they'll be pissed off if the numbers change and they're a MY22; or they'll be pissed off if they think they're a MY22 with Granger, switch to a different dealership, then the numbers change and they could have been a MY21 if they had stayed with Granger. And guess who they'll blame? Hint: It's not the anonymous guy on the forum who demanded those numbers, that's for sure.

Really, providing that much information to the masses doesn't do anybody any good because it's all speculation until orders are placed, not just with Granger, but with all dealerships. And even then, we have the whole commodities thing.

WIthout seeing the roof rails and the roof Its hard to give you a definite answer. I can tell you the slide out tailgate option will be available as an accessory in 21MY purchased from a dealer but you can't order it on the car from the factory to simplify the assembly process. That may be the case in this situation as well.

The new options for 22 that you can expect are new roof options, exterior colors, vehicle options, special editions as well. That is all the detail I have.
Wasn't aware we could order tailgate as part of my21 but not have it from the factory. Thats great news !

It's not on the accessories guide. Do you mind sharing the cost of it (and Ford code if you can) so I can add it to my spreadsheet for when I order?
