I think the BP is still half-baked. When selecting the 2.7 in the power train section it charges extra for the 10 spd tranny, but still shows $0 charge in the summary.

Just putting this out there. It should be mentioned which model you're referring to, since some of the changes don't seem to apply across the board.

I completely disagree. The base will be a unicorn as they can't make as much money off it. Everyone will have outerbanks and badlands models optioned differently.

The customer decides what to buy, regardless of what the dealer/salesperson wants. If I walk in to order a base, that's what I'll be walking out with.

But I agree the more lux models will sell in greater numbers, because that's just what people buy these days. It's kind of an expected norm.

I don't roll that way. I bought a new base stick shift economy car this year for 14k. I suspect relatively few of those sell.
