Yup. My "fairly basic" BD went up about $1500. The numbers are almost identical to a WildTrak build too. I could barely justify it before. I'm thinking of getting out now. Maybe the Squatch is part of the COVID parts supply? Maybe they are still playing with prices? I'll keep my reservation through March until my dealer calls for a final build (figuring the prices will have stabilized by that point) but if they are still what they are RIGHT NOW then I am out due to financials and will just deal with what I have and maybe consider something used in a couple years.

Wow, if this is now the new cost for Sasquatch on Base and it's not an error in their stealth update, it looks like I may be back to the drawing board.

If this is actually a true update, it means the commodity 'shortages' due to covid-19 hinted at in the Q&A video (when Sasquatch was mentioned) are the reason for this update.
My conspiracy theory is that they're trying to push people away from the Sasquatched Base into an upper trim level where it's standard or, for the most part, already there. (Badlands) .

I could straight axle swap and lock the Bronco for less than 9K.
seriously. the whole appeal to the sasquatch package to me was that you could get a warrantied, lifted bronco for approx the same price id pay aftermarket, and have that piece of mind. Now with the added cost, we could do a lot of better mods ourselves and have a few grand still in our pockets for any denied warranty work if something breaks. I have yet to truly complain about anything Fords done so far, but if these prices are accurate this is grounds for all of us to tell them to go F off lol

I agree with you, but I do hope the B&P is incorrect and this will be rectified. I will drop out if this is true and get something else.

Never thought as exactly Middle American i am, a Bronco might be out of my price range.
Yea, it's sad. Jeep's going the same way, too. You'd be hard pressed to find a 2-door JL under 35k these days unless you factory order a Sport with almost nothing except air conditioning. You want a Sport S you're paying 40k+ and a Rubi...good luck.

Same for me and this is a problem. I now need to decide if I want my Bronco to be my ultimate off-roader and go up to the Badlands or if I just want the style with casual trails and get the base base. The base Sasquatch lost its value appeal to me.
Yeah the price increase bites. But the base Bronco should be up for more than casual trails. With the addition of larger tires (and if the IFS ends up working decent). Leastways, I drove relatively stock CJs for years on Colorado mountain trails. No locking diffs - no problem. Some trips to Moab as well.

The base Bronco will have a decent low gearing and unlike older vehicles, the diffs will not behave as fully open, due to the traction control. Poor mans diff lock, lol.

I think some people overestimate the components that are needed to run trails and deal with some hairy stuff. How many Sasquatch owners will never do much of anything with the vehicles, because the driver will be limiting the off-road adventure, more than the vehicle attributes?

There's no freak out on my part. My original zero point model was a Badlands with 2.7 and 4.7 gears in Cyber Yellorange. I went to the Sasquatched Base with 2.7 because it was a heck of a deal (at the time) and pretty much what I wanted with the huge blank canvas for Aftermarket.

With that said, I'm not really concerned about the B&P at the moment and waiting for the January update to see what was added, as far as options and the price adjustments they do.

I am going to wait it out with one foot out the door...but if it holds I am officially done with a new Bronco.
yeah that's where i feel i'm at with it too. hopefully this somehow is just a mistake, who knows how thats even possible tho. They either need to hire better interns who are apparently in charge of Build & Price, or they've lost quite a few future customers. I hope all of this isnt true tho!

Kind of weird the prices certainly didnt drop with them "playing around" wouldn't you say. I dont think whats listed as accurate but when the dust settles if there is movement it certainly wont be in our favor.

There’s a bug somewhere, lots of funny stuff going on. On a base 4door, splash page still lists msrp at 33200. During build, if NO options are selected and you keep shadow black as your color, it ends up at 34700 with destination. Right where it’s always been. Make even a color change or add an option and msrp at the bottom jumps to 34800, 36300 with destination.
Also, Sasquatch is 9k now? The package itself is listed at 5k, I’m assuming they are charging for auto and advanced 4x4, but they should show that in the breakdown at the bottom. If that is how they’re getting to 9k, then why is it still 9k for a base 4 door that comes standard with an auto???
