Bronco Faithful,

From this video and speaking with the dealer folks in AZ (Sanderson Ford) and my dealer representative at Walnut Creek Ford, according to them, they each have around 500 reservations.
So my take is, the larger the dealer the larger allotments of Bronco's will be delivered.

Secondly, (and this is important) the reservation number... lower the number reservation (of the Bronco's reserved at your dealership) the greater the chance of getting your car sooner. In other words, if your Dealer has a ton of late reservations and only a few early reservations the better the chance of filling an early reservation because a larger dealer will more than likely have a larger alotment of Broncos shipped to them. I hope this makes sense.

Third, is the availability of parts for your build. In other words, if they have, (because of popularity), lets say for example they have a huge run of 2.7's and 10 spd automatics ordered, they will only be able to fill those orders with parts in the supply chain? If they don't have them for whaterver reson your order will be held up.

Second example, if you ordered a glossy painted modular top, you have already been told you will go to the end of the line because they are having a vendor production issue. So it is a crap shoot on parts and popularity of ordered options at this point. there is no way to get this information until they receive the orders.

Best scenario:
(large dealer + low number of early reservations (at that dealer )+ package popularity and parts availablility = the sooner you will receive your Bronco)

My take for what its worth so far.

Questions for Ford.
1) If you order a simple bare bones Bronco, where do you stand compared to the guy who has ordered a fully loaded model.

2)If you ordered one of the 3500 First Editions (which had to be low reservation numbers) will these Broncos more or less be built first? Or, because they are fully loaded will they potentially be hung up in the line because of parts availability?
Inquiring minds?

Ultimately, we are very fortunate to be coming off a divisive election, and rounding the corner on Covid with a new vaccine, and the economy making a comeback (DOW 30,000 record high).

Think about it.... we have something to look forward to. I know I sound like a grandmother, but we are really lucky to be getting a NEW BRONCO... I mean how cool is that!!!!!!!

In the big scheme of things, as to when you get your Bronco is really unimportant. My friend's father waited 2 1/2 for a Ferarri. I know this is trivial by comparison. But think about it, they are taking a new model from design to your garage during a pandemic, a divisive election and a drop kicked economy. Really, our hats should be off to Ford here!!!! For any number of reasons this whole thing could have blown up. I for one am counting my blessings!!!!!

Hope this helps.
So if I’m a July 14th res and I order a two door 2.7 CO sas........ dealer has 30 orders and I was one of the first 5......... when do I get my bronco lol

It a complicated formula i dont want to get into it.
I get it, that’s pretty funny. But in all seriousness WTF, that video did not give me any confidence whatsoever. If I’m in the middle of the pack I will get mine in 2022 probably. If that’s the case I’m leasing for two years and let the dust settle......

Well, I've got a day three reserve at Granger for a Badlands SAS. 2.7 and I'm not getting warm fuzzys from this Q&A. Ford should just make them all 2022's and just crank them out till summer of 2022. Everytime I get used to the idea of a having a Bronco, Ford kicks me in the nuts. After awhile you have to wonder if the end product is going to be worth it. Lately I've been thinking of a King Ranch Tremor in the F150. I'd bet I could get one before my Bronco.

The earlier your reservation the better. Just because it's constrained doesn't mean it's not getting built, it just means that the number they can build is constrained. If you're the first reservation in the list and you order a 2.7 Squatch, it'll get built.

@Everone
Unfortunately, without all the data, no one can predict when the cutoff is for each dealer and reservation. Hell, we know the total, but we still don't know the production capacity of the plant, nor do we know how many reservations are day one. Disregarding options, if there are, say, 50k reservations day one, chances are they all get built as '21s. If that number is 150k, yeah, some are probably going to be '22s.

Nothing we can do can change the limitations of automobile manufacturing. Will changing dealers change your odds? Probably, but you have no way to predict which dealer your chances increase, and which decrease.

In my opinion, Ford has handled this better than people realize. In 10 years selling cars, I've never seen this level of interest and demand in any new model. If this were a normal vehicle and process, they'd be marked up to the moon, and as a result we wouldn't get one until 2022, unless we like outbidding someone else. Through the reservation system, you don't need to know anyone at the dealer, nor be loaded rich to buy one. Ford even gave us the option to pick our dealer, allowing us to negotiate the hottest new vehicle since the Mustang changed the automotive world.

If you have a good deal with a dealer that's informed:

Best thing to do is sit back, enjoy the ride, and get excited when your dealer calls you to pick up your rig.
Yup i know ,im getting the manual sasquatch so im in a different boat.

Didn't Estoban answer the same questions twice in the same way?
...And by that I mean, didn't Estoban answer the same question twice in the same way?

1. Timestamp.
2. Options Selected... stay away from Sasquatch and the 2.7.
3. Dealer allocation based on a latent variable partial least square algorithm.
Yes.... yes... everyone dont get sasquatch.... or the 2.7....

Man, I though Lincoln was the sticks until I moved to Southborough! Surprised that you have gasoline in Auburn! That is near Big Boy's restaurant right? ?

Mine actually got better because of the further definition of how allocations are going to work AND the further confirmation of reservation/orders before dealer stock.
What did you learn about allocations that make you feel better about things?

Have to love Bronco Nation’s management of what the future Bronco owner wants to hear and “learn” (shh modular front bumper removal)

So finally listening to the whole thing. Wish somebody would of asked which options are the ones that aren't available! Like we know the tops are having Covid/quality issues.

I also heard from ...let's call birdie "the Ford sig" that something else is having quality issues Ford isnt happy about.

Been nice to hear what exactly are the things! Obviously SAS is one! I don't think I'm ordering anything that's on that list other him mentioning 2.7!
???ing it's not the manual transmission!

I also want to note that Ford has stated multiple times, and even in this video (although he did later contradict himself): They have enough reservations that there will be 0 stock orders in the 2021 Model Year, every Bronco will be an customer ordered Bronco.

Any Bronco you see on a dealer lot that isn't sold is an backed out order. Ford will be penalizing dealers that order Bronco for customers that cancelled before they're scheduled.

I can only speak for my dealership, but we have no interest in ordering a Bronco that a customer doesn't fully intend on buying. Having one on the lot would be nice, but we want to minimize that as it would be detrimental to our other customers.
