There’s a reason they haven’t responded to this thread...

Ford can’t just having 25% of the Broncos going to 4 dealerships that offer a good deal. There has to be some spread out, for logistics and financial reasons. Also the big dealers are also the most profitable for ford themselves, so they basically expect to be “rewarded” with more Broncos. Also Ford wants more Broncos in places where 4runners and jeeps are more popular, so Arizona/Cali/Colorado are going to get more than New England will. The system sucks but with as limited as Broncos are going to be they need to make sure people are getting them who they are prioritizing. Also I bet they are worried about scalpers getting a good deal and reselling.

My main concern is that by ordering a Basetrak I automatically get put at the back of the line even though I’m day 1 reservation.
Pfffft clearly you haven't been to a jeepers Christmas in MA. Tons of jeep wanna be off-roaders in Massachusetts. And pretty sure new England is home to the soccer mom 4runner capital of the WORLD....Concord, Ma. I'll be rocking my OBX CACTUS GREY Mall-squatch at the Auburn (MA) mall before next Veterans day???

1. Nothing to see here...move along

2. Ford will act in their own self-interest, as each of us will

3. With as many F-ups as they've had up until today - pretty illogical to project zero going forward

When Ford first announced the delay earlier this month, they also said “Initial 21MY dealer allocation forecasts will now be provided in early January (ahead of the order bank open).” If Granger or Stephens end up with a low percentage compared to their reservations, you’ll still be able to move yours to another dealer. It will be interesting to see how transparent dealerships are with their allocation vs reservation numbers. My guess is not very...

I wonder if being in Canada effects this too?

I for one really enjoyed this video.

I actually think they are trying to be honest and give us respectable answers within the boundaries of what their pay grades allow.

Some of you need to understand that Ford is not the only business around with complex ERP systems way over most people's heads. Yes it's complicated. Learn to live with it and relax and just worry about the things you can control.

Anyways I'm content with my buying process so far - and really appreciate these videos being scripted by BN. More please.

Granger Res October 3rd, could care less when I get it. Hell, I could be the last reservation holder to receive theirs, idc! Just as long as it’s before any Dealer stock shows up on the lots, that’ll piss me off.

I’m more concerned with the state of the nation at that time, interest rates, F’n gas prices (I already got a guzzler in my raptor), or still having a job due to economy. Lots of variables in waiting on an order of a vehicle for 18 months. Heck, I may get a baby-momma or 3 in that time before the bronco comes and Wham, there goes my deposit and the Raptor goes bye-bye for a minivan. ?

My EB build is nearing completion, so I can just enjoy that until my FE (or BL) gets delivered. Like was said above, not much you can do about it at this point. Considering the events of 2020, I am happy that things are still moving forward. Allocations will likely get clearer in March

Is there any way that we can verify our confirmation numbers to see where are are? I’d like to know if I’m in the top 20% or middle? How do we find out?

The problem here is that your typical buyer doesn’t order a vehicle. The dealer orders what sells and that’s what you buy. Commodity restraints delays and allocation are quite common in automobile manufacturing. You just don’t see it because you get the instant gratification of driving your said vehicle off the lot.

I would say it’s both. They are very popular which means ford is going to build a lot, but it also means they may run low on front lockers for example and have to restrict Sasquatch packages to keep building badlands. There is an absolute shit-ton of logisticss that go into it, and my guess is that in a way Ford probably way under-estimated the demand for this thing. They did it too good honestly lol.

There are a shit ton of jeeps in New England (my dad’s family is all out there) but there definitely aren’t as many as in the southwest. And they are more concentrated in certain areas. I guess a better example would be the south or Texas where trucks are more popular than SUV’s are. (Keep in mind jeeps are super popular everywhere, so 4runners may be a better determining factor honestly.)
If we're going 4runners, New England is king of the land. Passed about two hundo on the pike today

Just watched it , flannel guy says they dont want you to spec out a bronco and have it sit on the lot! Wtf really mine will proabably get stolen off the car carrier because its so badass.
I hope their secret squirrel formula dosent make my 8 min after reveal reserve go into 2023.
What would be a combo that would most likely get your truck in june?
@Hoofnmouth
The earlier your reservation the better. Just because it's constrained doesn't mean it's not getting built, it just means that the number they can build is constrained. If you're the first reservation in the list and you order a 2.7 Squatch, it'll get built.

@Everone
Unfortunately, without all the data, no one can predict when the cutoff is for each dealer and reservation. Hell, we know the total, but we still don't know the production capacity of the plant, nor do we know how many reservations are day one. Disregarding options, if there are, say, 50k reservations day one, chances are they all get built as '21s. If that number is 150k, yeah, some are probably going to be '22s.

Nothing we can do can change the limitations of automobile manufacturing. Will changing dealers change your odds? Probably, but you have no way to predict which dealer your chances increase, and which decrease without all the data from all the dealers in the country (3,300+).

In my opinion, Ford has handled this better than people realize. In 10 years selling cars, I've never seen this level of interest and demand in any new model. If this were a normal vehicle and process, they'd be marked up to the moon, and as a result we wouldn't get one until 2022, unless we like outbidding someone else. Through the reservation system, you don't need to know anyone at the dealer, nor be loaded rich to buy one. Ford even gave us the option to pick our dealer, allowing us to negotiate the hottest new vehicle since the Mustang changed the automotive world.

If you have a good deal with a dealer that's informed:

Best thing to do is sit back, enjoy the ride, and get excited when your dealer calls you to pick up your rig.
