Something I feel while at a stop

So from day one on my Raptor
While I come to a stop at a light and or about to let off the brake pedal I feel a slight chudder .. like the transmission or driveshaft or front transfer case vibrates for a split second. No noise. Not clicks. No rumble. Just a slight .. chudder as I take my foot off the brake pedal while in Drive At or coming to a stop then rolling forward … got about 2800 miles … is this a Bronco thing ? A ford thing ?

Something to worry about ? A recall ? I don’t see any recalls pointing to this

Nothing to worry about, just an annoyance. It won’t ever be a recall since it’s not safety related. There’s really no fix for it either unless you go with an aftermarket shaft

Same issue I had. Local dealer warranteed a new drive shaft and fixed it right up. All good until this shaft does the same thing because the brilliant minds at Ford won't put a zirc on the damn thing so the slip splines can be lubed.

FWIW, I looked into a custom rear drive shaft with greaseable slip yoke.....was VERY expensive so I said to hell with it. While truck is under warranty, I'll just keep getting new ones when the lube dries out.

I’ve got a 2026 base Sasquatch and I’ve got the driveline lash. It’s most prevalent when accelerating at intersections when I’ve stopped. Usually it’s not happening if I ease onto the brakes and gradually slow down. If I get on the brakes to stop, I get it pretty bad when I go to accelerate. But it reminds me of the Auto start stop coming on before you accelerate. 6500 miles and I experienced it pretty early on.

yes, that's exactly what it feels like, I've had driveshaft break on me cutting through the floor, but that my Buick GN , hope this shit doesn't brake

I chalk it up to a bronco quirk that we have to live with. Small annoyance to put up with for the overall driving experience though. Never had this on my fj cruiser or any jeep wrangler I’ve driven which is unique I suppose.

I’ve never had it on any of my cars including my wrangler or gladiator diesels. I’m almost wanting just buy the shaft and install it at my shop. Called local ford. They had no idea. And want me to leave it for a couple of days to determine. I said … ya. NO
