what's difference between this and buying replacement color matched ones from Ford (which would have come on an Outer Banks)? My 2021 Wildtrak came with black painted mirror caps.

Likely no difference other than sourcing the parts from Ford in what colors are available for those trim levels of that model year. Going aftermarket allows for more color options. My badlands is Velocity Blue and I think my only option is to have something custom painted.

I got the Paint Matched Door Handles and Mirror Caps for my 2025 BRaptor. Very nice visual improvement... I did notice that some other models had painted mirrors. I did learn there is a unique technique to install the Door Handles... It took me several hours on the first one, then 5 minutes each on the remaining 4.

Is there a difference in 2026 Mirror caps to 2025 downward? I wasn't aware they changed in 2026.

Likely no difference other than sourcing the parts from Ford in what colors are available for those trim levels of that model year. Going aftermarket allows for more color options. My badlands is Velocity Blue and I think my only option is to have something custom painted.

Any part intended to be painted from the parts counter only comes in primer so there is an additional cost the buyer will have to pay. @SkyKing MY'21 WT came with shadow black painted mirror caps as they were intended to match the shadow black painted mod. top that never made it to production until years later. MY'22 WT had the painted mirror caps removed for the standard MIC-color mirror caps to match the MIC top.

Prior MY Broncos with the HIGH/LUX package have the integrated spotlights in the mirrors. Ford eliminated the spotlights on current MY regardless of what option package. Raptors should still have the integrated spotlights in the mirror caps - though I'm not positive as I don't track details of the Raptor.

Yes, BRaptor has the spot lights and the Wide stance side markers.

So you’re saying the new 2026 includes the spot lights again for all models or you still need to get mirror caps based on 2026 models. Which would be the same as previous years?

No. The integrated spotlights in the mirrors has been removed for MY'26 regardless of the options.

The color of the spotlight is immaterial to the mirror cap. But you'll need the earlier MY mirror cap for the HIGH/LUX Broncos.

I didn't view LP's website offering so hopefully they have the necessary option. Otherwise, you'll have to order the caps from the parts counter. Keep in mind that paint matched parts ordered from the parts counter doesn't come painted, but only in primer. The parts still need to be sent to the body shop for painting for an additional cost.

Yes, I would have mentioned BFN Truckshop but didn't want to promote another business on LP's thread. AFAIK, LP is the only one that does the painted Sasquatch flares. But the other parts can be sourced from other channels.

Color of the Spot Light? Lost me there... aren't they all the same white light if equipped?
The Raptor has additional Side Marker Lights in the Mirror cap... Forward Amber/Rear Red... for DOT Width requirements. Similar to my Dually's side marker lights.

actually, several will do the flares... your flares off rig or they acquire and paint if requested. I know 3 off hand while doing my F450 and BRaptor. LP offered nice work & price for handle set.

So I don't pay much attention to the Raptor details. I thought the color of the light was internal to the spotlight structure. The cutout in the mirror cap is the same regardless of a Raptor or the earlier HIGH/LUX Broncos.

If that is not the case, then there will be a specific Raptor mirror cap.

Yes, how we have it listed on the website should be accurate from what we can tell. Raptors still use the prior design while the 26+ Broncos are using the updated housings without the cut out in the side.
