I wondered if LR was going to make a production version of their class winning Dakar effort. This looks like the real deal, as I suspect the Octa's air suspension is replaced (as on the racer) with a real metal long-ish arm suspension. Too bad the wheels are not 18 inches or < (racer used 17inch if memory serves).

Still based on the Octa however (motor is a turbo 4.4L) so it will be close to $200k out the door I suspect:

the regular Octa already is more than that.

i guess it is telling that they did not use the Octa suspension in the racer. So much for it being the ultimate suspension package.
