NEW: Diode Dynamics Dual-Color Fog Lights

You guys have been asking for them and they are FINALLY HERE. Diode Dynamics has released their new Dual-Color Stage Series LED Pods and we've got plenty of stock on them already at our warehouse!

Two Colors in One Lamp. Get the versatility of white and yellow fog lighting without purchasing separate lamps or changing lenses. The Universal SS3 Dual-Color LED Pod features selectable 6000K cool white and 3000K selective yellow output in a single lamp. Choose crisp white output for a modern appearance or switch to selective yellow for improved contrast in rain, snow, fog, and dust.

SmartSelect Control. Switch between white and yellow using the existing fog light switch, with no additional selector switch required. To enter programming mode, cycle the fog lights on and off three times, leaving each state active for at least half a second and no more than five seconds. The lamps will cycle through the available colors twice. Leave the lamps on for at least five seconds when your preferred color is displayed to save it. If no selection is made after two complete cycles, the lamps return to white as the factory setting.

Purpose-Built Dual-Color Output. Unlike our single-color SS3 pods, which are available in Sport, Pro, and Max, the Dual-Color SS3 is offered in one purpose-built power level. It is positioned between Sport and Pro in the SS3 lineup, providing a balance of usable output and selectable color functionality.

Focused Fog Pattern. The SS3 Dual-Color is available exclusively in the SAE Fog optic. Its custom-engineered TIR optic collects and directs the light where it is needed, producing a wide, controlled pattern with a sharp cutoff. Both white and yellow use the same focused fog pattern, so changing colors does not change the beam shape or aiming.

SAE-Compliant Performance. When installed as a pair and aimed in accordance with applicable regulations, the fog pattern meets SAE J583 requirements for legal on-road use. Please check your local laws and regulations for installation, aiming, and applicability.

Integrated Amber Backlight. The SS3 Dual-Color includes a distinctive amber backlight that fully illuminates the TIR optic. The amber backlight is separate from the selectable white and yellow main beam and can be connected to your preferred vehicle function for a clean accent when the main beam is not in use.

We know there will be questions so go ahead and ask away! We've got them on hand already and we've been playing with them for the past week. A few I know you'll ask right up front

• YES, these are a DIRECT REPLACEMENT of the regular SS3 lights. So if you have existing SS3 lights in your fog pocket you can swap these out. The wiring is IDENTICAL.
• NO, there is no Sport/Pro/Max. There is 1 SKU for these Dual-Color SS3 Fogs.
• BRIGHTNESS is 2,640 raw lumen. To put that in comparison the existing SS3 Sports are 2,262 raw lumen, Pros are 5,796 raw lumen and Max are 7,920 raw lumen.
• NO, there are no other optics. SAE Fog is the only optic available. NOW... with that said there's nothing stopping you from changing the optic to whatever you want. In fact, if you order them from us and put a special request in your order comments we can swap the optics out before we ship them to you. Now I can't say for certain if the patterns will be IDEAL but we can certainly test this out and report back.
• YES our dual and triple fog kits are available with the new Dual-Color Fogs. You'll see them listed as an option in the drop down.
• YES we have kits for PLASTIC bumpers, CAPABLE bumpers and MODULAR bumpers

Changing colors is pretty easy. You simply enter programming mode by turning the lights on/off 3 times and then after you are in programming mode you change the color by turning the lights off/on until you get the color you want. Leave that light on now for 5+ seconds and it locks in the color. This is the same exact way you program the SS5 DRL or the new Stage Series Light Bars DRL/Dual light function.
