I went to a local (Northern Virginia) Safe & Sound store and they quoted me a system overhaul for my base system for just under $10k! Seeing that price scared the bejesus out of me...so this MB system (with sub) being under $3k was attractive. I have yet to go to a local shop to see how much they would charge to install it. I also like the idea that you can add the sub later and it'll tie right in. Somewhat related, does anyone know of a decent shop in the area?

So how's this thing sound? I plan on getting B&O hi package next. I am ready to be disappointed by the stock B&O.

There is no need to replace B&O just get good quality speakers coax replacing coax and full range replacing full range (Audison, Hertz MP, Ground Zero vehicle specific coax are very good) plus a good sub amp with high level signal summing, like Kenwood XR1001.1, and mid to high grade slim loaded sub enclosure.

You'll be into it for maybe $1500 max with simple DIY install and plenty loud with great sound thanks to Ford and B&O sound labs doing a great job with DSP tune and the dynamic nature of the tune.

Very simple to execute with zero risks.

Looks MB Quart has entered the game :)
https://www.ceoutlook.com/2025/10/28/mb-quart-intros-new-ford-bronco-systems/

The three-way front upgrade looks very good. If anyone gets a demo, please post your thoughts in this thread.

INFO:

MB Quart is shipping four new plug-n-play audio systems for the Ford Bronco 2021-2024. They include a combination of a tailgate-mounted subwoofer, rear speaker pods, OEM subwoofer and upgrade amplifier that are customizable within multiple trim options.

The packages are acoustically tuned to the Bronco’s interior with attention to factors including open-air driving conditions, said Maxxsonics, parent to the MB Quart brand. “This is not just a Plug-and-Play upgrade we’ve spent countless hours engineering, measuring, and tuning these packages to work in perfect harmony with the Ford Bronco’s unique interior layout,” said Maxxsonics President, Brian Sherman.

MODELS include:

MBQBRO-STG6-OEM-1 Ford Bronco 2021-2024 Tuned Audio Package:
a complete 800-Watt STAGE 6 Audio System for OEM base model audio systems or aftermarket source units

MBQBRO-STG6A-1 Ford Bronco 2021-2024 Tuned Audio Package: An 800-Watt STAGE 6 Audio System for OEM B&O Audio Systems. This is MB Quart’s top new Bronco package claiming premium sound, deep bass and rugged durability.

BS1-316 6.5 + 4 Inch Ford Bronco Tuned Front Dash 3-Way Component Speakers: Delivers 400 watts of total system power with 2-Ohm impedance across a 20Hz-22kHz frequency range.

BC1-116 6.5 Inch Ford Bronco Tuned Rear Coaxial Speakers Upgrade: Delivers 220 watts, 2-Ohm impedance, and a frequency response of 55Hz–22kHz.

MBQBRO-SUBR-1 Ford Bronco Tuned OEM Subwoofer Upgrade: Delivers a 400- watt, simple boost to your factory audio system with deeper bass and better quality.

MBQBRO-302 Ford Bronco Tuned Tailgate Subwoofer System: A 400-watt tailgate subwoofer adds low-end power to the Bronco’s audio system while maintaining a clean, factory-installed look.

Installation videos are available for the above systems, demonstrating ease of installation:

OEM Subwoofer and Amp Upgrade Installation:

I received mine today, but I found there were no instructions included. The videos didn't show where to install the pac module, and there was no information on how to connect it to the unit. I contacted them, and they mentioned they are working on a new video for the BO system.

You can check out Trailseven.com and Maxxsonic for updates.

I recommend holding off on purchasing until the full video is available.

Thanks for the update - if it’s the standard pac module for bronco a2b there is a good video here

I bought this system, with the 8” sub replacement. Overall it sounds much better than the OE, but note a couple of things.

the replacement dash grilles require re-using the clips from the OE part. Kind of a hassle.

There’s a lot of excess cable. I have a Badlands with the rubber floor instead of carpet so it might be just an issue with this but it was tough to fit it all in under the passenger seat. Enough zip ties and some careful nudging and I managed to get it buttoned up.

the sub sounds much better. I tested everything before I put all the interior panels back and it sounded great. I will need to pull the side cargo panel though and make some clearance because the speaker makes contact with the factory grill at higher volumes.

Overall though, very happy with the setup.

Hi jj deuce
I realize this thread is a few months old, but I would love to see some photos. I’m considering this upgrade. Would you do it again? Or would you do if differently?

Non-B&O Base 6-speaker audio in a 2021. I installed the BS1-316 3-way set for the fronts just yesterday. I like the looks of those custom grilles with tweeter grafted in. The instructions are clear and the crossovers are beefy. You have a large crossover to slide inboard of the 4” midrange in the dash. It plugs into the factory harness at the dash location and splits out signal wires to the 4” midrange and the tweeter. The kick panel speaker is a larger woofer with its own crossover. Because the factory harness has 4 wires I think that the kick panel crossover splits the full range signal and sends the lower frequencies to the woofer and everything above that to the dash - where that crossover splits them further between midrange and tweeter. The kit comes with an adapter ring between the the woofer - 4xT20 screws - and the factory opening - 3x7mm bolts.

Sound? A definite upgrade over the stock drivers. Bass is slightly deeper but a subwoofer is needed in a Bronco if you want proper bass extension. To come…

Thank you for that! Looks great. Do you have to do anything with a forscan to optimize the sound?

No changes yet in Forscan. This seems to be a simple upgrade using the same full range signal that comes out of the base ACM.

Base systems are simplest to upgrade no AtoB and with right amp will equalize signal in first step of DSP tune.

Anybody that's installed the MB Quart system, do the blue LEDs on your amp stay on all the time when parked? I just installed mine today and they are still on an hour and a half after I got home.
