I was fortunate to visit Germany a few years back. My father-in-law was born in Berlin, 1940 and came here in his college years.
Spent time in Munich, Hanover, Berlin, visiting a lot of different sights.
Had the best beer ever in the Bavaria region! Lol!
We had a rental Mercedes diesel wagon, factory summer tires, BEAUTIFUL car!

Something cool about ripping along the autobahn, in Germany, in a Mercedes-Benz.
Much fun!

Looks great! I'm a stickler for flag rules, so I'd love to see the star field forward, but I'll let it slide this time.

I visited Kiel during Kieler Woche right after my college years and loved it. You should see if you can make it over here for a Bronco Off-roadeo sometime.

Hi Dirk, my dealer Roger Wendling located in Schweinfurt (Bavaria) carried out the necessary modifications for registration. He even managed to integrate the rear fog light into the left tail light 👍.
However, if you are bringing the vehicle with you as part of a household relocation (Umzugsgut) simplified regulations apply.

Hope that will help,
Wolfe
Thanks Wolfe,
I‘ll give them a buzz if they’re interested in making the conversion for us. Definitely want to avoid an ugly bolt on rear fog light.

I’d be curious, if there are any Heritage Broncos in Europe. I can’t imagine there‘ll be a lot. I haven’t even seen many in the US so far….

Bavarian beer! My mother and I toured the region 40 years ago this summer in a rental BMW. Great car, great beer, great sausage, and loads of interesting historical things to see on that trip.

At the end of one day we reached our destination and found they had a summer festival on the lake. Würst, bier, warm summer sunshine, a peaceful park by the lake, and beautiful mountains all around. Perfect ending to the day.

German beer imported here is nowhere near as good as the stuff on tap there. It loses something crossing the ocean.

Thanks @Valhalla I mostly play in the forrest (or desert) with my Unimog. 😃

The Bronco will spend most of its time in Southern Spain, where there will be a good selection of dirt trails, but I might make the short hop across the Mediterranean and explore Morocco with it….

As requested. Some Unimog pics. For the Bronco, it‘ll be October until it hits German shores.

Enjoy!
