Asfir aluminum front skid for 25 OBX with plastic front bumper

I have a 25 bronco outer banks with lux and sasquatch package. I have the plastic bumper and wanting to replace factory splash shield work aluminum skid.

Any one using this Asfir unit with the plastic bumper? Supposed to be direct fit and no mods.

Do you have any issues with oil changes etc? General thoughts on this unit?

The oils changes are simple on the 2.7, as there is a hole to drain down. All you need is a drain plug like the dorman where you can just open it. I did have it on when I had the plastic bumper and it fit great.

I have the ASFIR skids and haven't had any issues with them.

I have almost the complete kit minus the muffler, and LCA skids.

I am happy with them and have put them to use in Uwharrie. I'm sure they're going to get a work out at Windrock in August.

One thing to note is that after two trips I've had to re tighten some of the bolts.

Keep on mind all the by design gaps in OE are abscent in these blocking airflow evac from engine / trans that generate massive heat especially the twin turbos.

Look for something as close to OE holes and gaps as possible ....I would not use most of the aftermarket ones.
