Any recommendations on grab handles? I'm not big on the paracord ones and haven't found any metal ones i really like
I bought Bartact paracord. I needed handles and couldn't find any metal ones I liked. Also paracord won't interfere with the side curtain airbags if they deploy..

You don't need mudflaps, I have 2 sets in my basement I'll never put on. Opt for a phone holder instead
https://www.tackform.com/products/ford-bronco-phone-mount-accessory-ready-grab-handle-m618

Tackform

Enduro 20LITE Phone Cradle | 20mm Ball | Light Spring tension | For Semi Truck | Black × 1

Bronco 6th Gen Accessory Ready Mounting Ball for Grab Handle and Dashboard | 20mm Metal Ball × 1

Dual 20mm Ball Socket Arm With Elbow | Die Cast Arm With Knob | 4.5" - 7" × 1
7"

My advice is don't buy too much before delivery. You have time. Most stuff you don't need

I would say you dont NEED any of it, just what you'll use. I use my steps and phone holder daily

And I bought things that I think should have come standard from factory but didn't, like hood struts and a metal lockout for the 7speed, but you dont technically need that either
Totally fair. I've got the runner boards since i KNOW I'll want them. I'm looking at sill protectors for obvious reasons.
My other big concern is the driver side bolster. I wear a belt buckle on my hip and it tends to give lots of wear on the bolster closest to the driver's door. I'd really prefer to not do seat covers
I tend to put sl the back seats down a fair bit so I am looking into

Don't try to protect it so much you fail to enjoy the bronco.

Sill Protector and steps, you don't NEED much else. Simple is best
I agree about sill protectors. Most don't really protect, they don't cover the edge of the step where wear is most likely.

I bought these. They're made by Tufskinz.

I've seen these! I actually have them in my cart 😊 I'm debating between these and the ones that have BRONCO across them. Think i want it here first though so I can visualize better. But I'm glad you've had a good experience with that brand. That certainly helps! Looks sweet too, btw!

Make sure you use a spray when applying them. The adhesive is VERY good and you won't get a second chance. Spray first, a roller to get rid of air bubbles is good.

What do you mean by 'a spray'? To clean the area first?

Water spray. Fill a spray bottle with water and a few drops of dish detergent It makes it easier to apply the protecters and get rid of air bubbles.

New Bronco comes in soon (in theory). I want to keep it pristine for as long as possible.

What are your 'must have's?

Mine will be a shadow black
Order your Bronco in any color other than black. 😉

My first brand new vehicle was a fresh off the lot shiny F-150 XLT in gloss black and it showed every minor scratch and speck of dust ‘til the day I traded it in for a different color.

That being said, running boards and front mud flaps will help keep your black beauty cleaner.

I've had my Bronco for close to 5 years now 🤯, Shadow Black as well! I STILL get compliments on it, especially when it's completely topless.

I'd suggest buying door sills, seat covers and the rubber floor mats (CalvinT - pictured above with doors sills), Ford sells them. Install running boards asap.

Another suggestion, only use brushless car washes or use a pressure washer to wash the truck. I bought an extra absorbent one- pass drying towel, and use Magiuar's gold class quik detailer after each wash.

It's your truck, enjoy. Tons of insightful help and enthusiasts here with lots of knowledge too.

Welp, back to waiting for Ford to finish service maintenance on the Bronco! No regrets....

Too late now lol. And besides, it's definitely the color I really wanted. Running boards are ready to go! And mud flaps are now on my list. Any specific ones you'd recommend?

I added Malbett seat covers, IAG mud flaps, Xpel XR Prime Plus ceramic window tint to help reduce common wear/tear. Common convenience items were Broaddict cargo shelf, stirrup steps and tailgate fold-out table.

Hey all,

New Bronco comes in soon (in theory). I want to keep it pristine for as long as possible.

What are your 'must have's? Sill protector, cargo protector, dash protector, center console protector, etc. (links appreciated)

Mine will be a shadow black with black vinyl interior, so sleek and simple is my vibe.

What do you wish you had done differently? What are you happy that you did do? What did you do that wasn't needed?
Sill protector, hood deflector, large coverage mud flaps, side steps and ExoShield for the front windshield. Mine is three years old and looks like new!

Mabett’s, with or without the graphic. No drill, sturdy brackets, good fit, flaps look OEM.
If choosing to run mud flaps, definitely the fronts, rears optional because the tires are so close to the rear of the truck not much splash onto the back corners.
I have both on for the winter to keep the salt off but take the rears off in the summer ‘cause I think the Bronco looks better:
